Just a cheap little upgrade. Came out pretty good and matched up pretty well with TRD sway bars.

Looks Great I think I am going to do that as well. Did you prep it with a primer or rough up the surface?

The paint I used had primer in it. Did 5 coats.

I just cleaned the hooks in a pan with Purple Power. Didn't paint the bolts.

Thanks to @TundraXPLover for the help with how he painted his tow hooks. I just did mine, and they came out great. Now i need to go and giver her a wash. Living in the Northeast sucks in the winter with all the sand and salt.

Did mine this past weekend as well. Rustoleum 2-1, Gloss Apple Red. It's a good match to the TRD red.

Sanded, degreased, alcohol wipe, 2x adhession promoter then 5-6 coats.

There a bunch of other threads on different prep and paint colors too. Many use Tractor paint.

    Not enough....
I like this look over the hanging clevis shackles. It adds a nice touch of color, but still tucked up nicely and not hanging down looking like truck nuts. And still plenty functional if needed.

FYI , these are really anchors for rail and truck transporting of the vehicle. Not true recovery points. There is a difference. They can and do break off in some cases of misuse.
