They were in pretty bad shape. I also replaced the rear rotors about 3 months ago and the drum part was rusting badly, looking pretty shitty through the rim. Yea, she's filthy, we just got a lot of rain, and its cold today.

They came out nice. The all black RW wheels look good too. Powdercoat or spray paint on the wheels?

The wheels are spray painted. I sprayed these about 2 years ago with Rustoleum Hard Hat Black. Next Spring they will be stripped, and repainted "Liquid Black" at the local Ford dealer down the road. It will be getting a 6"lift, at that time, I'm taking my wheels to them, with a new set of tires to mount while its in there. Ford's liquid black is what the apply on their OEM wheels. $400 for the paint and mount and balance new 35's. Cant beat it. They said 3 days, so probably 2 weeks.

Well they look great as they are haha. I'm sure the new paint will look better close up though.

Thanks, its not bad, but its starting to chip and the black just isnt as "black as it used to be. It looks like it faded. There's no UV protection in cheap spray paint. I've been considering getting the wheel paint kit, and doing it myself. Under that black on the rings is "Monster Energy" Green powder coat. I've considered stripping the paint going green again. IDK though... I kinda like the all black.

Yea,its suggested to use high temp paint, or even caliper specific paint. Probably the same thing. I used VHT Engine enamel, then the VHT High temp clear over top.
