    Something we used to do on another truck/off-road forum that was pretty fun, and got to meet a bunch of local people:

    We would have truck competitions and shows. So pretty much, people would get together with different brand of trucks (1/2 ton-whatever), have several trailers loaded (7k, 9k, 10k or more) and go test the crap out of them going westbound on I-70.

    Lots of people learned a ton about what was offered from factory, some mods, and driving experiences.

    Maybe we should do that here....

    If I ever got rid of the Tundra, it would be for a 4R..some of the showroom ones I've seen look pretty sexy!

    Touché... My parents had an explorer and then an expedition as the kid haller of choice until about 07 when they bought a Buick Enclave. They loved the fords and how comfy they were even for just 3 kids. But my mom didn't like driving a full size when they moved up from to the excursion. They put about 80k miles on each before selling and that is how my father decribed his thoughts on them

    Also heard similar things from teaches at the tech school I went to for a couple years.

    So I don't have to first hand experience your right :p regardless my price range on things doesn't have a new ford in the budget, and I'm going to avoid the used ones
