I drive a GM (Silverado 2500) for work and it's a stud. The only problem is that it feels incredibly cheap inside, but it is a base model for a work truck. I love the engine though...for now

I hope this is an April's fools joke.....couldn't remotely imagine trading down to a Ford, especially as nice as your Tundra was set-up up. A joke......right?

They do run well. Kinda surprised the company doesn't jump to a diesel for the amount of towing and area you cover? Probably has to do with maintenance and the 10k upgrade.

The amount of towing i do is minimal in frequency but maximum in weight. I'm one of the only people at my level that tows anything and it's somewhat out of the norm to even tow. AT&T's goal is to go as cheap as possible on many aspects, yet spendy on others. It just depends on who the fleet manager is for Colorado at the time. I've been authorized Duratracs with no flinching but shot down and mandated to go Firestone Destination AT's at other times. Like i said, it just depends on Colorado's fleet manager at the time. It's fine...i didn't pay for it, nor do i pay for gas.

The WTs are pretty ghetto. But in my experiences, could you imagine what a construction crew or something like that would do to a LTZ?

4.10 gears or 3.73? The 4.10s and gasser isn't bad.

I have been proven wrong before, but I'm pretty sure the only two motors offered in a GM 2500 is 6.0L gas and 6.6L diesel.

The gas motors have options of 3.73 or 4.10 gears. The diesel is 3.73 gears only.

    I just looked it up and you've proven me wrong. It's a 1500. I wish i hadn't just learned that. It was a lot cooler saying it's a 2500!

I just gave mine out and wasn't using it. Let me see what we have at the shop. Help me remember next week. I'm sure to be heading down there on Tuesday or Wednesday. We get them by the bushel. I just need to make sure they haven't all been handed out. Pretty sure there are a couple laying around.

There are pros and cons to this truck forum. More knowledgeable guys is a pro in most cases, but in this case, it's a con!!

Honestly I don't see Toyota making a tundra2. If the EPA would lighten up some on diesel emissions I could see one in the line. Toyota is not keen on the def system nor I am ( it's bullshit).
