Cool I picked up a cheap Amazon camera I can use with my phone. So I may give that a shot.

Everything is now out and I have all the parts to put her back together now. Just need to find my 3/8 torque wrench and clean off old water pump gasket residue and maybe clean a few other ods and ends.

Just really hoping for the best.

I just need to figure out how to get the timing corrected since the old belt broke and I wasn't able to set the timing marks before removing. Anyone have advice for a good resource on this? @shifty` you seem to know where to look for this sort of thing... I'll dig through the manual too.

Reposting a reply I did on a different thread for the same discussion. Going to continue this discussion on there as it seems more relevant to my issue now that I identified the timing belt as the issue and not the sensor.

Just to update. Replacing the timing belt I was able to start up the car. No more fault codes were showing P0340 is gone now from the ECU.

I've migrated to the thread I Dodged a Bullet!! as the details for the timing belt job seem more relevant. But wanted to update here replacing the broken belt fixed my fault code. Car seems to be okay so far (haven't driven it yet need to fill coolant and reinstall fan still).

Iv been searching for the oem supplier/maker of the camshaft position sensor.

When I look up tundra 06 4.7 v8 on rockauto I see Denso 196-1004 $119 as a replacement part and the description says OEM / Interchange Numbers: 19300-50010, 19300-50011

when I look up the part number 19300-50020 on RA I see HITACHI part number CPS0119 $47, but no Denso option

Going with Denso based of the TSB and my CEL Codes match the TSB
