We’re finishing up fabrication on the latest batch of sliders this week.

I’m booked up with local stuff and other males/models until after we return from FJ summit at the end of July. If you wanted to organize and group buy that would start production after that return we could work with you on that.

I requested the diamond plate, although in retro spec I should had made sure they understood I meant aluminum diamond plate. The steel just adds another 35 lbs to the sliders.

Bare steel will start shipping sometime next week. Powder coated and raptor lined will go to finishing a couple days after and ship as soon as they are back.

How we looking on these? I ordered bare steel. I Can't wait to get them blasted, painted and skratched up.

Curious what everyone is doing for coating these? I'm trying Steel-it paint

We’ve moved to 3rd shift for the summer. I’ll be making crates and trying to start boxing up the bare steel orders, making backing plates and hardware bags tonight .

Fab is done on all orders and we’ll have a few in stock at all times from now on.

Without getting too far into it as the information is considered proprietary, 1 bracket is not possible. And major changes like that are not that simple.

Are you planning to weld your sliders on?

Bare stuff has shipped. Powder coated stuff just came back yesterday and will shop tomorrow. Now that is back from powder linered stuff will be hung and sprayed tonight and tomorrow to ship Monday as long as the humidity lets it cure enough over the weekend.

Did the lined sliders get enough time to cure over the weekend to ship yesterday?

We’ve been consistently shipping sliders. Everything that’s shipped should have had tracking emailed to the new owner. I’ve got 1 set ready to ship tomorrow and 1 that needs a touch up. Pm me your order number.

Been reading and re-reading this thread for over a month - finally pulled the trigger on a set of P&P sliders. @mac11 was very helpful in answering my questions and helping me to order exactly what I wanted (Thanks!). Can't wait to get these installed. :)

Well unfortunately on top of raising transport costs throughout this year I’m getting another price hike.

Those that have received coated sliders know the crates we make do not have an additional 6” to take out of the length. Both my freight broker and myself have now eaten a couple hundred dollars a piece on shipping this last batch of sliders.

We’re going to do our best to keenthe rwtes low and absorb some of this cost but may be needing to raise rates to cover escalating costs.

Not yet. Been too swamped. It’s just drop the tank skid if you have it - NOT the tank, pop a couple clips out of the pass side rail, put the sliders on stands, put the backing plates through the holes frommth back of the frame - plate with the handle and nut goes on driver rear behind the tank, then put the bolts through loosely, then go back through and tighten them up. We do it in 45mins to an hour on the floor with jack stands.

So, my first experience was with Diablo Off Road....and let me tell you, they did a hell of a fuck up on my suspension install. Installed UCA's backwards, shackles wrong, etc. I think they had a bad few days with a bad worker who was quickly terminated and then were short staffed.

I'm going to have Central Automotive do it. They've done a good amount of work on my hot rod, for me, one of the first shops i've really trusted.

Thanks. I've had no issues with Diablo Off Road - they did my suspension after their employee "left" so only Cliff has worked on my truck. I will check out Central Automotive.

You should have an email with tracking. I just got off the phone with the terminal and they said they are scheduled for delivery tomorrow. They only go your way on Tuesdays & Thursdays. They have had them since Monday but would not answer why they didn't come your way Tuesday. Not sure if you have been in touch with them and that is why?

    Sending you a PM.
