It's my fault. I wrote it down wrong. We'll get it fixed. Let me get in touch with the person who wanted those steps before making any decisions.

Got mine today and to say I'm happy would be a understatement....

    I'm ecstatic!

    They arrived 100% perfect.

I broke the end 2x4 when I was loading it in my truck. But absolutely NO DAMAGE!

Looking at a picture does no justice. In person these are RIDICULOUSLY SICK!!!
Can't wait to get them on the truck. Such a well done job @mac11
Thanks for killing it with a badass product for a badass price!!!

That washer with ring I used is about as thick as the backing plate with the ring welded to it. But yes, it doesn't have the same surface area as the backing plate. I'm not going to worry about it, it is only one out of four. Anyways, thanks for the concern, I'm sure you're right and it is a bit less sturdy.

So I installed my sliders today and came across similar line obstruction. I was in no hurry to get these done so I took my time. My sliders are lined which makes it a little more difficult to get the backplate collar to fully insert into the slider holes that have liner in them. When I saw the lines that you had trouble with I thought it wouldn't fit either and I'd have to come up with a similar remedy. But again, just patience, and careful massaging of the lines, sliders, and backplates, and eventually it all lined up perfect. It was tight but it does work. I left everything loose, then tightened bit by bit until they fit. I also added pieces of sticky rubber foam wherever the lines contacted the backplates and all is happy. So, you probably can get yours to fit with the backplate too, I'm theorizing.

    IMG_20190409_124522~2.jpg IMG_20190409_115526~2.jpg IMG_20190409_144443~2.jpg IMG_20190409_150455~2.jpg IMG_20190409_150254~2.jpg IMG_20190409_150338~2.jpg

Overall it was very easy to install these, I just used 2 jackstands and an atv stand and drove up on ramps. I also took the ebrake bracket off and flipped it upside down and it adjusted very nicely from there.

    @mac11
I am very impressed with the craftsmanship and quality of these sliders. They don't budge a millimeter when I step on them or jack up the truck with them ...no problem! Absolutely Awesome.
    Thanks again!

Great, thanks for the info! On my truck, there wasn't any room behind the lines to slide the backing plate behind them. Did you bend them?

Yes, very carefully. But they will move enough to get you where you need to be. Again when I first looked at it, I thought it would never fit.

Sorry I've been slacking on the updates for round 2. Been really burning it at both ends lately. Trying to keep on top of the production aspect of this and prepare to Argent a couple events in May as a vendor. Come see us at jamboree in Texas for the Toyota side with our 3rd Gen tacoma or in Moab for for the Nissan side with our V8 swapped xterra.

We have the coated sliders ready to ship off to powder. We'll be working on finishing up the last of the bar sliders tomorrow and Friday and Monday of necessary. I hope to get the first of the bare steel sliders out the door Friday depending on how we do tomorrow.

There were a few that orders skids with their sliders. Most of those are cut and will get bent next week after we wrap the sliders. Bare steel & aluminum skids should start shipping by the next week and coated skids will go off to powder at that time.

We should be shipping a backing plate that looks like this to fit just that spot. If they're not being packed I'll send them out to anyone who didn't get one.

If you Turn those bolts around so the heads are inside the frame they shouldn't touch the brake lines at all.

I thought about that but didn't want to see the nuts on the outside of the frame. Like I said, with a little patience, everything worked out perfectly. That new plate would make it a breeze!

@mac11 - I’m starting to get a little anxious/irritated about how long it’s taking me to get my sliders. I’m sure you are working on them as fast as you can, but a little bit more communication would be appreciated. An ETA would be better.

Background for others reading. My first set was ordered January 30th. I received my set on March 21st but would not accept them because they were so badly damaged in shipping. Mac took care of return shipping and promised me another set from the current in progress batch and said he would get them to me ASAP. It’s now April 20th and nothing still. I get it, shit happens. I’m getting a little uneasy and impatient

Powder coat and raptor are at powder. Been there over a week. Shouldn't be long til they come back. But we outsource powder. It's not an in house process so I have zero control over their workload and timeline. I'm in the middle of packing up bare steels now and they will go out today and tomorrow.

Theres no reason to be uneasy. We are working on them and as fast as we can. You have a set in this batch. You made the choice to reject them and have them sent back. I understand why you did it. I don't blame you. But If time was an issue you should have accepted them, noted the damage and we would have fixed the powder on your end. Shipping them back to be reworked on my end puts them into the middle of my massive workload. I can't get them to you any faster without stopping production on 20 other sets and pissing off 20 other people. I'm currently working 14hrs day, 7days/week thats about as much as I can do. To say I haven't communicated enough after page 15 and hundreds of PM's and emails kind of eats at me with the amount of revenue and time we've given up to this group buy.

Thanks Mac11, appreciate all the work, and hopefully getting this much of your product out, will bring you good exposure, awareness, and sales to your brand and make this group buy a definite win win for all of us.
