Here you go.... Type 2 PC’d no dimples.

Chose this because I can easily clean and repair after each season. Type 2s because i don’t want sliders to flare out more than my tires. (Want to use my tires as reference point in tight scenarios). No dimples cause mud collects underneath them.

If i had more time and not in between truck projects, I would have bought bare sliders and paint myself then i would easily match when scratched, dinged, and scraped after each trip.

And yes the sliders would feel the hi lift jack in the trail eventually......

Usually Hi-Lift or similar styles work well. I guess I needed more commas in that post, I was just trying to list a few known purpose built applications of sliders that will scuff the finish.

Removed the one E- brake cable mount behind the rear cab mount- then was able to pull cable around in front of body-mount- just removed hanger piece from cable- was going to remount hanger onto bottom of body but there are hangers on either side and I thought it wasn’t needed

Then push slider up to line up mounting hole- looked like my front was higher then rear and Slider was hitting cabmount bolt- I then cut off cab-mount bolt flush with locknut using die- grinder- could use hacksaw if u do t have grinder etc. then used rubber neon boot to cover nut and keep from rubbing slider

    Good luck

How much are these sliders supposed to weigh? My Diamondback HD cover was 212lbs on the shipping bill and when I asked they freight guys to drop it next to my truck they got a worried look on their face but once they got the pallet jack under it and started pulling they immediately said it didn't feel like 200lbs. I'd be curious to the actually weight of the sliders.

My type one sliders arrived. I walked out to the dock and there they were sitting, no crate. No damage. The forman and truck driver decided it best to uncrate since the crate was trashed. No harm no foul and it saved me time.

Installed them last night.. two of us...47 minutes!
Thats includes the time to drive in, raise the truck on a lift, install, lowering and backing out...really

I apologize, I was off the last couple days in bed sick. A couple went out as jeff could get them out but he's been full bore into fabrication on round 2. I'm back in the shop enough today to get the rest packed up and shipping set up so they will go tomorrow.

If anything you should just need to take the palm of your hand to the bracket thats going to be closes to the rear leg and push it straight up. There's plenty of slack in the e-brake cable and that bracket is thin sheet metal, will bend easily.

There are pictures earlier in this thread if you scroll back a few pages.

As of this morning (4/2) I have closed off the deposits. We are at the end of our current stock of material and need to focus on getting everything finished and delivered. If there is further interest we can open up another group when we have these in hand.

I haven't been in that shape in a few years. But, hey, I lost 15lbs so now I'm ready for summer beach weather.

Not sure if you received another email from our system or not when I put the newst tracking in. Your replacement hardware went out last week. Should be there anytime via UPS.
