I did that. How does it help you by having the shipper note on the BOL that it was damaged?

It shows you received the package as damaged so the shipper can open a claim with the shipping company. Much like you sign off on receiving a certain number of items ie your shipped 20 items, only 18 make it to your door you have to mark it down on the BOL right when you receive it as proof.

I’ve already told Mac thx for group buy and all the good updates and quality products!!
    I appreciate it all!!

There is no use buying a quality product if it gets messed up in shipping before u receive it!! I know first hand about LTL - you have to build crate accordingly

I have received and shipped neon(GLASS), fluorescent and led signs ( VERY fragile )
All across the USA - in a quality well built crate and they arrived in the same shape as when they left!!

    Not bashing just concerned

I like the look of the step bares however to pay over 1 thousand $ for a product that comes scratch damange and one has to touch up with paint is unaceptable,
Would any one accept a brand new vehicle with any defects?UOTE="TheBeast, post: 1101504, member: 3246"]very fine sanding to take off the burrs then spray paint rustoleum over it.[/QUOTE]

I would also love to get my sliders in perfect condition but it seems sliders getting scratched in transit is very common. While researching which sliders to buy the majority of manufacturers put a disclaimer saying that if you ordered coated sliders it was likely to get scratched and so doing so was at your risk and that you acknowledged it.

I think every single company says they do not recommend getting powder coated for that reason and if you do they don’t take any responsibility. Yes it does suck a lot but he did try. He Did give us a great deal. A Great product. Great communication. And atleast we kind of have a heads up that the shipping company sucks and they’re gettin scratched.

I will probably scratch mine when using as jack points. Now the question is do I really need as many layers of rustoleum like the PC sliders for corrosion resistance if they will get rock rash

Initially yes and then you can just throw a coat or two on them after you bash them up!

Hi guys! I'm new to this forum, but have been lurking for a while. Is this this a group buy I can get in on? I wasn't clear on how/or what I do first, looking for a set of bare sliders with the full dimple plate.

    Cheers!

So what did you do with the E brake cable and the body mount bolt? Looks like the E brake cable will be in the way on my 2019 TRD Pro as well. But since I don't have the hardware yet to actually install the sliders, can't say for 100% sure.

Those of you who have recieved and mounted your P&P sliders, please post some (more) pictures.

I'm debating between bare metal and the Monster Liner finish I'd like to see pics of any finish to help me make a decision. So far I'm very impressed with Macs products and customer service, and I plan to order a set in the next day or so.

After a couple of trips to the desert, these will more than pay for themselves.
