Are we supposed to have a pouch or cover of some sort for our owner's manual? I've never had a car without one but my Tundra came without anything and the dealer said there wasn't one.

Mine came with it. Directly from the dealer.
I would take a photo, but I'm not near the vehicle at this very moment.

    Oh, and welcome!

I just called the dealer and he said it doesn't come with one. Liar. Could someone take a picture of one? I'd really appreciate it. And thx for the welcoming Sean. I'll do a formal intro this weekend after I get some pics of my truck.

I worked at toyota of warren for 10 years, they do not come with the trucks they are an accessory not every dealership uses them but we gave them with every new car, the new cars and trucks can even be ordered with them and the window sticker will show $6 for owners portfolio

Yep, instead of paying $6 a piece and having them come with cars we would order boxes of the through the part department, it worked out a lot better that way

Hmm i did not get the pouch with my 16. Just a stack of about 7or8 manuals. The pouch would be nice.

What I found silly is that the pouch will not fit on the "shelf" in the dash very easily.

    (Yes - I'm a little OCD)

Likewise, here. You really have to work to cram it in there.

Mine came with a Karl Malone Toyota cover. My truck was transferred from Utah dealer to CO Springs dealer in 07.

That's cool. I used to live in Salt Lake City and would get to see Karl Malone play for the Jazz.

Yeah, I wasn't aware he owned a dealership. Wise man. (Elway owns several here)

So I went down to my local dealership and they gave me one. I was hoping for a nice leather one like Paulie T's, but got a cheap plastic cover. At least the manuals will stay nice and clean.

That is his concealed carry gun. Puts it in there while driving and when he is somewhere that he cannot carry, i believe.

Pretty much this. Sometimes I'll conceal my other one, but if I'm in gym shorts or something, I'll toss this one, or another model in the truck.

My wife picked this up for $1 at a garage sale. Kinda classes up the glove box.
