Yeah they are all so darn expensive. I got my alu-cab a lot cheaper 5 years ago as i bundled with a Decked system, but still!

Depends how much room you need. For a 2 person RTT I really like the GFC super light. So much so I just ordered my very first RTT.

Yes I love the GFC super light and the price point is so reasonable I was looking for something slightly bigger but might give the super light a try. Is there any wait time on the super light ?

I'm not sure on exact sizes of each but the Alu-cab is a 2-person tent. There is enough for 2 people (it's essentially a Full XL mattress) for sleeping and not sleeping, he he, but getting dressed having extra stuff in there it gets a little cramped. At least for me, not a huge guy 5'8 200lbs but pretty broad shoulders so it is a little cozy LMMV

New custom Alcans. About a 3" rake with Icon 6" coilovers. Should settle a bit and when truck is loaded up for trip it in theory should have about 1" rake.

    Nice rig Trabs!

I have an Eezi-Awn Blade. The tent has been nothing but great and does exactly what I bought it to do. It is very well built. I ditched the mattress for a exped megamat which has greatly increased comfort. Have no interest in mounting things on the side so that did not weigh in on my decision.

The GFC's are nice but I ruled it out because you have to install and remove your bedding everytime you want to sleep. I'm lazy and storage for bedding would complicate things with my setup. Then when I was looking to purchase the wait list was stupid long.

I consider the Alu-Cab on par with the Blade if not better due to the mounting on the side of the tent thing. It is however more expensive and this is why I bought the Blade instead.

These style tents are the cats meow if you don't need room for more than two people. World expedition quality and price tags to prove it.
