I can't contribute to the help, but I am learning a lot myself. Welcome!

Well fellas I wish I could tell you it was just a fan clutch but I went to put it in and ended up having to pay a stupid tax for those of you that don't know what a stupid tax is that's when you take a shortcut and it ends up costing you more money for not doing it the correct way the first time so after installing the new radiator (because I punctured the old one with the new fan clutch hence the stupid tax) the new fan clutch, thermostat and radiator cap I no longer have an overheating problem I cannot tell you which one was the problem but thank you all for every little bit of help that you gave me I sure do appreciate it

If it was the original rad it was probably a good time to go ahead and get it knocked out anyway. At least your problem is solved.

Glad to hear that you're no longer experiencing any problems. Truck should be good to go for many more years. As far as I'm concerned, you ended up doing things the correct way with the parts you listed - unless that radiator you damaged was brand spanking new.

I hate that stupid tax almost as much as I hate federal taxes!
