    Yeah, it can get bad. Years ago when I was still a mailman, my route was in the foothills of Mount Lemmon- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Lemmon . Anyways, there was a big ass fire that burned down the little town at the top and every day when I got back to the post office my mail truck was filled with ash.

    It's a little worse in WNY. But I haven't minded at all. The haze is filtering the sun and keeping the temps down a bit and the smell reminds me of campfires. It's actually a lot milder than a camp fire.
