It does have some meat on it, more parts just showed up. N-fab steps can't wait to see it all together.

Tundras matter more than Tacos, I got rid of one too & don't miss the stick shift which when I was younger I thought was really cool.

Trust me, I couldn't agree more!!
That was more of poking fun at the whole hashtag whatever matters crap that's going on around.
First truck I ever had in high school and college was a black 99 taco Prerunner. Flipped it (story's somewhere in another thread) loved that thing. After, got me a 98 s10 since that was all I could afford. Then a Silverado that crapped out on me within a year, then finally got me my current tundra. Don't even miss my taco, and never going back to Chevy or tacomas!!

I hope you dont get bashed. Im a Tacoma lover as well as a Tundra lover. Two different trucks for two different purposes. I love my 16 Limited TRD Tundra and I also love my wifes 16 TRD Tacoma. I couldn't even bear to trade my like new 2005 Tacoma TRD in on my new Tundra so it just sits in the garage....LOL

I know what you mean about the Silverado, I had a Chevy Express van leftover from my business that I used as a trade-in on the Tundra. I needed a monthly repair budget to keep that van going.

My first pickup was one of the pre-Tacoma 4 banger sticks. Bought it early 90's. After my son got his driver's license he ended up driving it more than me because he considered it so much fun to impress his HS Classmates that he could operate a manual, he felt especially impressed that the girls thought so too.

I needed more equipment loading capability which is the reason I bought the Express van. But after 20k miles it became a nightmare, good thing I still had the small pickup to take up the slack, but then my son overturned it in a nearby ditch & that was the end of that. I struggled alone with the van for a year but ended up breaking down & got the cheapest extended cab '09 Tacoma stick with A/C & gave that to my son when I dropped the business a couple years later. He still has it & looks almost brand new with 125K on it right now.

image.jpg I'm not a Tacoma hater, I actually bought my son a 2016 sr5 the same day. We haven't had a single issue out of it. Maybe a got a lemon. Hope you don't have the same issues out of your OR,

    Ooh Chevy van!! Pimpin!! LOL

Hahahaha I was driving a stick when about 50% of my classmates knew how to. Most of them were driving their dads old trucks at the time. Even had a few c10's rolling around LOL no manual shock and awe status then!

I do know I would get a Tacoma if I ever get serious about off-roading in a second! But for now, I'm loving my tundra on the hunting and fishing trails I take. Cant beat their capabilities coupled with towing and available cargo space!!

.......agree with you on the off-roading using a Tacoma vs Tundra. Around my area the smaller pickups are the rule getting into the offroading areas, they are simply more nimble & easier to turn versus using the 1/2 ton, but I'm not an offroader so I don't much care about that. Originally I wanted a Tacoma but the problem was the bed width, just not wide enough between wheelwells for my toys.

Love the way the ST Maxx's look on there. Those pics just convinced me a little more to get those same tires when I get my lift.

Nice looking Truck!! I did something similar. I bought a ’16 Silver Taco at the end of June and last week traded it for a 2017 Tundra. I couldn’t be happier!!
