Options for a Hardside Truck Camper w/in GVWR?

    Airbags may not necessarily change the capacity, but they definitely improve the capability when towing/hauling by preventing the suspension from bottoming out and improving sway control among other benefits.

    Hey man there's a beverage here! The dude abides. BL - Best movie ever...

    I know this is ~$20K. But it looks pretty good. For a hard side camper under 900#s without any gear in with cabover- I see nothing on the market like it. I know it's probably a best fit for a Tacoma, but this seems like a great fit for the Tundra as well. Thoughts?

    As big as the gaps are on the height, it looks like it was actually made to fit better in a bigger half ton. Looks like they just made it shorter front to back so it can fit in a Tacoma bed.

    Thanks, that is a great point and I think you are right on! I wondered why it looked like the gap was so big and I didn't think occur to me that it could be to accommodate a taller cab for the Tundra (as opposed to the Tacoma). I asked Soaring Eagle if they install would install a wider pass through window (to accomodate crewmax) and they said they can provide that customization.
