Opinion on TRD decals on bedside

I have a 2017 Platinum and was thinking of putting the TRD stickers on the side of the bed. It doesn't have the TRD package but I have lifted it and put wheels and tires on it. Is this a faux paux or OK?

 

Should be good IMO. I've pretty much replaced all TRD components and still have my stickers. General public won't even know the difference. Go for it!

 

If i couldn't find a tundra with the trd package i was going to put the sticker on myself. Do it.

Half the people here have the Pro grille and bumper ends color-matched, so can't see anyone having much room to talk on adding a sticker. Go for it! It's your truck, do what makes YOU happy!

You guys actually like those decals on the bed sides? Personally I would take them off, kind of surprised people want to put them on. I don't even really like the bed stamps on mine because it's a pro. To each their own I guess.

OP - if you want them, put them on. Who gives a shit if you don't have the actual package from Toyota.

But try to find a sticker without the shadow outline. Can't remember where I saw it but it looked gooood.

LOL, I was thinking about how before I bought my truck, I would check out the different stickers and such, especially prolific in the south, as the southern Toyota region had their editions, and Gulf States Toyota had their editions, you had the TRD, TRD Pro, TSS,Xp,XPS....
I like some of the custom ones done and may do a Florida edition in flat black, though briefly toyed with the idea of a Gold Sticker With the Eagle Globe n Anchor, and make it the Marine Corps Expeditionary edition, I decided I’m not that big of a “lifer” LOL

Toyota tundra or Tacoma both look weird without bed stickers imo

 

I removed mine, couldn't stand the red in it.

 

Bedside was so plain. So I put some on my Platinum ... do what you want. It’s your truck and not anyone else’s.

 

Would consider a all black one tho.

 

This one time I saw a tundra at menards that had 2 trd off-road stickers one next the other on the same side. Then on the other side nothing. Wish I took a picture. I'm sure I'll see that truck again.
Personally I like my trd sticker it adds horse torques.

 

Do it. I have a TRD Pro grill on my SR5 TRD and I don't care, haha. In the process of making my TRD wheels look like TRD Pro wheels too. It's your truck you do what you want.

My truck is black and I didn't like the silver in the TRD bedside decals so I picked up some custom matte black ones, couldn't be happier.

I'm only mentioning it because you can go with a custom one if you don't like the OEM ones 100%.

 

Do it!!! I swapped mine out to flat black. Don't buy them from the dealership, they charge around 90 for a set. I paid $18 for the set online.
