    He also left me a shotgun that had been in the family for over 100 years but it was one of the worst shotguns ever made and is worthless but looks good over the fireplace

    Right off texoma and I love it if you minus copperheads, rattlesnakes, fire ants, poison sumac, poison oak, ticks, and spiders the size of a Buick and just as ugly.

    Used to go there when I got in trouble as a kid. My parents would ship me up to my Aunt's cattle farm in Hallsville in the summer for "work camp"... LOL

    Yeah... it can get mighty still there. It was all good though!

    The saving grace was that one of my cousins there worked at the Schlitz beer cannery and they would give them cases of beer that was a bad run where the seam ran through the label. I was never thirsty and my uncle would let me take his old CJ 5 into town on Friday and Saturday nights. I would load up the back of it with beer and use all my money I made on buying ice. I would have a bunch of new friends every weekend!
