One thing that we hate about our trucks?

I miss the dual glove box, extra overhead storage and side door compartments that I had on my second gen 2007 Tundra.
Other than that, I'm once again totally delighted!

None! I tow a boat weekly
    2015 Limited CM. Zero complaints.
Nothing to hate. Cam tower leak is totally fixable and is only on a certain percentage of vehicles. Any thing else is just nit picking. I’ve had Dodge and Gm products and yes they have some cool features. They also have serious problems that are inherent in the design. AFM that causing oil burning and still does. Front wheel bearing/hub that go bad on a regular basis. Transmissions that are just bad. Electrical issues that go along with all those cool little screens on the dash and the Chevy shake. Ford is bad and Dodge/Ram is worse. After owning domestics I LOVE my Tundra.

I hated the leaf spring squeak on my ‘16 tacoma and the slipping transmission when it was cold. Bought new.

This truck? Not one thing. There are things I would like to have, but I’m hoping some of them will be added to the next GEN tundra. But hate?? Not one thing. .

No driver's side grab handle. Fixable for extra $160, should not have been removed. Love the build quality compared to my Chebby Tahoe.

Absolutely. I got to drive mine after 3 weeks yesterday (F150 work truck in the meantime) and I immediately had a huge grin on and was giddy like a kid. I need to have another conversation with my boss about letting us use personal trucks for work - getting paid to do so of course.

The only real complaint I have is that I could not get a manual transmission. After almost 300 posts in this thread and I'm the first to mention that, so I don't expect to see that change. The automatic works fine for me, but I prefer a manual.

The other 3 1/2 tons, while they get somewhat better mpg's than the Tundra, don't do as well as the EPA ratings would indicate...check out fuelly.

Also, the Tundra's very low 4.30 gearing helps with torque delivery but at the expense of mpg's...you can't have your cake and eat it too. Most other gasoline trucks (including some 3/4 tons) have higher gearing more oriented towards mpg's rather than outright performance.

Back on topic: Tundra needs a rear locker.

I agree. I was thinking about it yesterday. Other Toyota vehicles have conditioned me to expect it to “just work”.

    TEXAS!
    YES SIR!

first three vehicles were manual; miss the shift... even in houston traffic. if you know what your doing, it's not that big of a deal.

i also appreciated it an added theft deterrent. most knumbskulls cannot drive a manual, and the worst you end up with is a broken window and rummaged through console and glove box.

You can buy a gen1 v6 if you want a manual. You get the tacoma package. Only auto for the v8.

Until the new Ram 1500 came out, I'm pretty sure the Tundra had the biggest front brakes in the 1/2 ton segment.

Also, for all the complaints about bed bounce or rear suspension ride....are any of you putting weight in the back or are you riding around empty?

Because if you're riding around with an empty bed, it should come as no surprise that a 1500-1600lb payload rated suspension is going to ride a bit stiff.

I see a lot about the bed bounce. I never had that with my Sport. I wonder if it's because of the sway bar and different Sport Tuned Bilstein shocks (the red ones)?

Which other half tons have you driven? My experience with F150's has been that they are way worse at braking, the Tundra when I actually fully apply the brakes I have a hard time not flying forward. Don't have that problem in F150's I've driven

My bed bounce has reduced since I put my sway bar on. There was a stretch where my bed was twerking like crazy, now it just vibrates
