So my truck is a lease - 2017 tundra crewmax XP 4x4. Few things I've done already:
    Phillips ultinon heads and fogs
    LEDs everywhere
    ESP rear seat storage

It's not my everyday driver as I have a work car, don't want to go too crazy on it as I don't plan to buy it out just personalize a little more and stuck between exhaust and retro lights.
I'm sure at the end of the lease I won't have an issue swapping the retros or finding a used set to throw in but missed the growl of my Mustangs.
    Appreciate everyone's input.
    Go!!

big question. on the ESP seat storage, why did you spend the $700 and rip out the carpet/foam padding on a lease?

    1. you either leave it in when you turn the lease in ($700 for someone for free)
    2. you remove it and replace the carpet/foam padding (you may have to spend 200-300 to replace the holes you made)

I could understand if you will buy out the lease, or you did minor mods that the cost wasn't that much when you turn in the lease.

Get some rumble going for sure. Easy to replace w original when the lease is up.

It was $175 for the storage, I couldn't stand the lack of storage and organization in the truck. I haul stuff a lot and have kayaks so needed somewhere for all bungees etc to go when dogs are in the truck. I'll leave it in when the lease is up, that is if I don't have equity in it because I only drive 50-100 miles a week on average.

Personally I would not put any mod $$$ into a leased vehicle especially if your not planning to buy it. And does your lease contract "frog hair fine print" even approve of alterations to the vehicle? FWIW...

Sure doesn't but never stopped me in the past. Not my first lease and I've done a few things to each one, sometimes there's equity since I don't drive much and trade it or let carmax take it, or my Tacoma first instance had a few things and Toyota could not care less when they traded for my Tundra lease.

Just looking for a little extra fun until I can justify a third car as some kind of muscle fun car.

I’d go exhaust. If it is not your daily driver, you might not get to really enjoy the new lights very often. But, you can enjoy the rumble every time you fire it up!

Yeah, with that little miles you’re going to buy it out at the end of the lease. Your truck will be worth $5-8k more than your residual. In that case just do the BA muff and the Retros. Might as well lift it too. ;)

Thinking that much? I've had it since beginning of July and just turned 2500 miles (one road trip). That would be nice.

My residual is $26k so I'm sure yours will be close to that. A 3 year old Tundra with 15-20k miles? Easily sell for atleast $31k.

I picked the retrofit because I want to do mine before exhaust. Rumbles are great and all but I'd rather see where I'm going a little more right now.

ah, I thought you got the full length storage, not the 3 tray one since you have a CM.

you can add any mods to a lease, just that when you turn it in, depending on the mod, you can either leave them on or you will be required to put the vehicle back to factory specs.

Very nice. Are cold starts bad? I've had 5.0s with roush axleback and also roush muffler with off-road xpipe. Don't want to piss my neighbors off too badly w early cold starts. I have no issues idling through my neighborhood. Thanks!
