Nope. Just dealing with it as ARB says to deal with Wheelers and Wheelers is ignoring me.
I sent many photos to Wheelers and ARB. They both say everything is installed correctly. The spring sits in the cup the way I have it. The other way the spring would sit on top of the cup. It looks correct to me, Wheelers and ARB. It would lower it about 1” flipped the other way but it’s not designed to be flipped and I think it would eventually split that cup piece as it would be applying the force on it incorrectly. I’ll dock around with the other set I have and see what I come up with.

Nope, still running the 614's. They're slowly settling (~3,500 miles now) & I'm sitting about 3.75".
Btw, it's been months & I still haven't heard back from Wheeler's. If you buy from them, expect ZERO customer support after the sale!!

I called Wheeler's yesterday about an order and talked to a person in like 10 seconds. Been buying stuff from them for several years. Zero issues. After the sale too. Not doubting your problem but there has only been 1 complaint about the same OME setup here. Several of us have or had that same exact setup with no issues.

Refresh my memory please. You've ran the OME 613 coils? What lift did you get from it?

Wheeler's told me to deal w/OME & it was out of their hands. OME told me to deal w/Wheeler's because they sold me the product. Wheeler's wouldn't do shit. My one & only experience w/them sucked so, in my eyes, they suck.

I'm going to add an edit to this:
The 613's never gave me <4.5" lift.

Thanks. Still bangs on-road when it shouldn't but not near as bad as it did. Still bangs a lot off-road, way more than it should. It rides good, both on & off road, but you can tell when it maxes out the extension of the front shocks.

614's for almost 5 years. 2.75" lift on my 07. Zero issues. With so many folks running with that same setup my inkling is installation snafu. Doesn't make sense otherwise. Not doubting your problem, but Wheeler's is highly respected in Northern Kali and Southern Orygun, for years, with the local Yota folks. @ColoradoTJ rode in my 07 once and the first thing he said was how good the ride was...................

If you have 2.75" of lift from 614's after 5 years, which is higher than advertised, then you definitely got way too much lift.
I have installed dozens of lifts of my own & friends. OME & Wheeler's both said the install was correct. Front was installed 4 different times. I assure you 110% there's no install issue.
So I was correct in thinking you hadn't ran 613's (what this thread was originally about). I was pretty sure you hadn't but thought I'd ask anyways. And no, I'm not the only one who got way too much lift from OME on a Tundra. There's others on this site who got too much lift but were not actually aware of it until I brought up my issues. The vast majority of people don't install a lift & check to see how much lift they actually got. I do on every lifted vehicle I've personally owned (about 17 lifted trucks, Jeeps & SUV's consisting of Chevy, Dodge, Toyota, Lexus, Jeep TJ's & XJ's).
It doesn't mean shit to me how Wheeler's is w/others. I'm speaking from my personal experience w/them & it sucked. All they did was kick the can down the road.
    Wheeler's: Ask ARB about it
ARB: You got me. We'll send you new springs or you can get a refund from Wheeler's.
Wheeler's: we're not giving you a refund. You need to take it up w/ARB.
ARB: We didn't sell you the product, Wheeler's did. They should give you a refund.
Wheeler's: We're not giving you a refund. ARB should reimburse you.
ARB: You had a business transaction w/Wheeler's, not us. (I absolutely agree w/them saying that)
    Wheeler's: crickets for months .
    Yeah, my dealing w/them sucked.

You have mentioned you had 613's and 614's. Simply responding accordingly as best I can. Wasn't too sure what you had. Actually OME used to advertise 2.75" lift and it changed to 2.5". We're are only talking about a 1/4" difference. LOL. Either spec is ridiculous because it depends on which coil you go with and what you have for weight on the front. That applies to any lift out there. You really don't know for sure until everything is on and you adjust accordingly. I've installed a few lifts myself over the years since my 57 Jeep project in high school 49 years ago. I was 16. Sorry it didn't work out for you with Wheeler's. ARB is known for great customer service. Quite surprised they didn't help you out and honor their warranty since Wheeler's is an authorized dealer. Quite usual in that regard.

I got more than 2.75 on my 613s as well. But my stock suspension was shot ta hell. Fair in that sense. Rides nice though. This thread makes me sad :(:hattip::angrygirl:

I was hoping that @The Patriot 1776 had gotten that problem fixed. Does suck. I always thought it was way too much lift. Perplexing to say the least.

I like the way it rides, no doubt.
I have 250+ pounds with my ARB Summit Bumper (~200lbs+) and a 10K winch with steel cable (70lbs+) and it’s not enough weight for the 613’s and barely enough for 614’s.
What springs did you get? Hopefully the 612’s! I haven’t heard a single complaint about the 612’s.

yup- got the 612s. Saw they were rated for up to 150 lbs and figured that would be plenty of support for my bumper which is 100 lbs.

    Been a little while… @The Patriot 1776

I have the the whole OME set up in my bed awaiting install next Tuesday (613 coils and dakar leaf pack)

I have the ARB summit front bumper and a Warn 12k. After reading this thread I’m now a little worried I may get more lift than expected.

did you come to any further conclusion as to why you got so much lift?

Wonder what ever came of this.... I've got OME on my short list of suspension options. With all the positive experiences others have had I wonder if his issue was, in fact, due to an error in installation.

I’ve tried a lore suspension offerings over the years on my tundra and I just can’t recommend this kit. For the price there are plenty other better options… the inconsistency among end users and results are enough to justify this. It’s a shame because I had the OME kit on my Tacoma and it was great for what it was… not the case for these trucks
