I'll see what I can get together. But it consisted of them doing a complete rebuild and doing their bulletproof package while doing it. This includes their clutch pack with all new seals and bearings throughout the trans, new output shaft, Billet torque converter, new valve body with the necessary porting needed, bigger and better oil pump. This is going to get rid of the long delayed shifts and makes everything quicker and firmer.

Did you go with that deeper transmission pan with fins?

I thought about it but did not at this time. I will probably do that when I need to do the break in service at 12,000 miles.

Well, there has been a ton of upgrades, changes, adventures, etc that have happened since August of last year. I am working on updating this build thread, just been spending too much time on the SDHQ login.

So last update I chimed in on was when I blew my transmission shortly after doing our 4th of July video last year. See link for video if you haven't watched it or want to watch it again. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWH6oNQyMy0

So I had nothing but problems with the aftermarket transmission and ended up just putting a stock one back in. Shortly after, a company gave me some gear oil to test in the rear diff and they ended up giving me the wrong stuff. So it smoked the rear end. They were thoughtful enough to replace the stuff for me and I figured since its cheaper to upgrade, may as well doing gears and an Auburn Limited Slip! Took advantage of the new REM polishing that we are doing to all of our gears pre-install so that there is no break in period and also it hardens the gears. Been smooth cruising since!

Decided after doing too much night off-roading with stock headlights that I need a little extra light. Went with the @sdhq_offroad A-Pillar mounts and mounted up some @Baja Designs XL80's in the amber Driving/Combo pattern. All I have to say is WOW! You can't out run these things!

I ended up working the AZ Off-Road Expo and we had a trailer that needed to be towed home otherwise someone was making another 45 mile each way trip. Don't be fooled by the size, this thing is lined with steel cabinetry as a display trailer. Put the truck on the hydro bumps but got her towed home no problem. My @dirtydeeds budget dump was screaming out of joy! People, hit him up if you like aggressive!

Went to Tundras to Sedona 2018 shortly after. Boss man asked me to take the shop Tundra and I wasn't going to turn that down. Don't have many action shots but there are pictures in Tron's build thread. Was a blast and took a few guys from some bitchin rides through the Cinders whoops at 85mph.

We decided to designed and produce a chase style rack for the rear of the Tundras. Once we got them worked up, I HAD to have one. It fit my needs too much and it looks bitchin!

With the desire to get an even better ride with the Icon shocks, I started looking around for a spindle so that I could take all the preload out of my coilovers. After some test fitment, we found that the CST spindles will work with the 17" Method wheels. With the amount of lift given in the front, I had to bring the rear up as well. From stock leafs with Icon 2.5" rear shocks w/ CDC and hydro bumps to Icon RXT leaf pack, 2.5" RXT spec bypasses, and the Icon hydro bumps. This leaf pack is the smoothest pack I have ever had in a truck. It is also weight configurable to how much static weight you have in the back. I has the chase rack with one spare (225lbs) on the option #1 setting.

I've also been thinking about going with new wheels. I have been eyeing the new Method 701's in black and with all the available room front and rear due to the spindle and leaf pack, did some test fitting. 37x12.50x17 will fit no problem without any rub while maintaining full suspension travel and usability after a tad bit of trimming. There are a couple future "updates" that will be happening around this same time.

Yeah, I wanted more weight at the very rear end so that I don't have to put as much rebound in to prevent the bucking.

I too have a 2010 DC tundra 2wd. Thanks for showing exactly what I’ve been picturing in my head for a build!

Truck looks amazing! Looks like with the cst spindles you were able to avoid cranking the c/o’s up? Nice flatter uca angle, therefor nice ride?

Big things coming down the pipeline on this truck! I post mostly on the SDHQ account answering questions and what not, so I haven't been too active.

We move into our new 30,000 square foot facility in a month which is a huge undertaking for us.
