Agreed...but I went with 612s since I was sticking with the factory bumper (5.7) and no winch...but I seem to be higher than advertised, but with time and settling we'll see where I end up.

Like my pants...they might start out at 33 waist, but when they're all used and "settled" they tend to lean closer to a 36 ;)

For the money, You can't go wrong w/ OME & CoachBuilder about 4" total!
Honestly, I am getting older and I didn't want to go any higher for both me & my wife.
Even this guy stopped and asked about my set up w/ 35"x20s.

    But I think he nutz!

    HELP!!!
I’ve got the front coil overs installed and the front put all back together but there’s a pop sound, on each side, each time I bounce on the front bumper. Feels like it’s the UCA. Any ideas????

The sound actually sounds like it’s coming from the just installed SPC UCA.
    Ideas?!?

I had a pop sound when I turned full lock only one way when I first installed. It went away after it settled. Could be a fluke. Or something worse. Have the shop inspect it when they do the wheel alignment?

This happens sitting in the shop, no movement other than someone pushing up and down on the front bumper. I’ll ask the alignment guy but I've already done 90% of the alignment. Toe set close to zero, camber close to zero and caster at ~3.5. This has me stumped! I can hold the shock stub and not really feel the pop/bump but when I put my hand on the UCA I feel it pretty strongly. Odd.

Is everything torqued to spec? Was it all torqued sitting on the ground and not on a lift/jack stands?

Huh that is odd. Uca rubbing something maybe? Like @Squatting Pigeon said the torquing on ground maybe.
It’s a major bummer getting an upgrade and finding an issue with it. Hopefully you figure it out ASAP :)

Torqued to spec, yes. I torqued everything on jack stands, as I've installed Literally dozens of lifts and the front being torqued on jack stands has never been an issue, but I re-torqued everything on the ground after this popping and it changed nothing.
    Thanks!

Happy to (try and) help! :hattip:

I have a pop on the front end of mine too but I think it’s the sway bar. I’m going to remove it and grease the bushings when/if I ever have time, and see if that does it.

That's what it sounded like but they're brand new.

    ***UPDATE***
Took the truck for a short drive (~1 mile) & I couldn't get it to pop. Got back on the bumper and bounced the hell out of it & can't get it to pop again. Woohoo!!! I guess something was in a bind & it quickly worked itself out. Thanks for all the input fella's!
    Lift info:
    2613 front springs
medium load rear Dakar full leaf packs w/greasable shackle kit
    Rock Auto SPC UCA's
    Rear OME fit kit

    Pre-lift measurements (w/ARB Summit & 10K winch installed = ~260lbs.):
    PS R 24.25"
    PS F 21.25"
    DS R 24.25"
    DS F 21.5"
Post lift w/1 mile on the lift:
    PS R 27.25"
    PS F 26"
    DS R 26.75"
    DS F 26.125

So far I got 4.75" on front & 2.75" on rear. It has a very, very little rake, which is what I wanted.

I had one + rear spring, I put on DS, & one 0 spring, I put on passenger side. The kit came w/zero instructions but is pretty straight forward. I tried to do the no spring compressor method & there's no way in hell it was going to work w/the springs (2613). I had to take them to a shop to get the top hats installed & they installed the bottom coil bucket upside down, which I didn't notice until I got the entire PS front installed. I had to uninstall all that & take back to the shop, flip the bottom coil bucket & re-install. Total install time was ~11 hours but that includes eating lunch, going to shop twice (1hr), driving around trying to find a shop to do the coils (1hr.), trying to figure out the correct process of installing rear shackles (.5hr.), trying to do the no compressor method (1hr.). Every project I do on trucks takes more time than it really should!

I maxed out lower cams for rear tire clearance (front cams all the way in & rear cams all the way out). UCA set to neutral 'D' position, which is actually +2° caster. I did a quick alignment which gave me roughly 0° on camber, 3.5° on caster & haven't messed w/toe yet. I'm taking it to a Toyota alignment guy today or Friday to dial it in exactly.

Rock Auto carries SPC upper control arms? can you post a line to the item...I found what looks like spc but they are labeled MEVOTECH is the the same as spc if so that price is pretty great.

There's a thread on here somewhere all about it, Mevotech is the same as SPC for way less.

I was just doing a side by side and the only difference i can see is that the spc is has a greaseable ball joint...I wonder if an spc ball joint could be add after a couple years of wear and tear.

Mine came w/one greasable & one not. Make sure you add grease as there wasn't hardly any in the non-greasable unit.
The ball joints say SPC on them.

Pic of mine w/613’s, Toyo M/T 285/75R18 and Level 8 MK6 wheels. Btw, I have zero rubbing anywhere but haven’t wheeled it yet. Maxing out the cams worked great! IDK what more of y’all don’t do it. :monocle:

If you have SPC UCA's, you can max the front alignment cams all the way in, max the rear ones all the way out. This moves the wheel/tire forward & outward giving you maximum space between the rear of the tire & rear of the fender/cab mount. Doing this & putting the SPC @ neutral/D position (which is actually +2° caster), you should get between 3.5-4° caster & can adjust the ball-joint in/out to get your camber dialed in. Since I have an aftermarket bumper, there's no issues in hitting anything in the front.
I hope this is understandable! If not, feel free to ask any questions & I'll answer the best I can. I'll snap some pics of the room between the rear of the tire & rear of the fender tomorrow.

Nice thanks, it makes sense. I’ll be interested to see a couple pictures of the cams to reference as well if your under there please:hattip:. I have the spc’s and arb Safari bumper so wouldn’t have frontward issue either. I’m really curious to see how mine are set as I had zero input on the alignment setup. Gunna have to see in the morning

Wow mine are damn near centered front and rear. This explains a lot for my truck. I’ll be adjusting those this weekend and looking for a new alignment. My 37s need all the room they can get! Thanks for this info!
