Ok, so I have a gripe about the Griot's PFM towel....

The thing is impossible to wring out! I washed my truck today and dried it. Then washed the wife's Acura. After drying the Tundra, the towel was pretty much loaded up. I tried to use it to dry the Acura, but it was just streaking the water all over (not really drying). I was able to wring some water out of it, but not enough to make a difference. It really is an awesome product though.

That is why you need more than one. :) Actually I use the Harbor Freight: Grants Premium XL Plush Drying Towel for $5.99 and get some of the water off. Then use the Griot's towel. I was able to do 2 cars and my Tundra that way.

    Alot of them
Do you have the large 20x28 inch? It definitely soaks up some water and is tough to ring out. Amazon has a 2 pack of 16x16 for $19.00. I'm wondering if those would be more manageable.

If you use the sheeting method you can dry multiple vehicles with it.

That’s what makes it a good towel. The water doesn’t come back out of it easily. Once it’s fully saturated, it’s done and you have to let it dry naturally. I have 3 similar. Take the nozzle off your hose when you’re done washing the truck, let that pour over the top of the truck and the sides. That will leave less water behind and you should be able to dry the entire truck with one towel. I then take a soft terrycloth or microfiber towel to get the jams and wheels with. That’s because I don’t want any black stuff on my good towels.

My only complaint is that it holds so much water, it takes a while to fully dry out. I picked up several of the smaller ones at Pep Boys on sale to fill in

That’s why I have three. I just hang them up in the garage to air dry and they should be ready for use in a couple days.
