Oil type??

    Yeah, Amsoil is all I use on all my cars, including marine engines. I use their pure synthetic Signature Series.

    A lot of people don’t realize that cam timing (VTEC) is controlled by oil flow/pressure on overhead cam engines. Engine oil is pushed through precision drilled oil passages to accomplish this process. Sludge buildup in the heads can lead to disasterous consequences.

    Well these guys screwed me, finally had a chance to look at the oil filter and the short tube is installed.
    I found another dorman housing from rock auto. Should be here by end next week.
