Leave truck alone until the morning. Look for actual 'oil spots' on the ground. Then look directly above each spot to see the source of the leak...

Not enough oil is coming out to drip. Seems to have slowed. Or possibly never even started. When I checked 5 minutes after the jump, the underside was already pretty much coated. I am thinking it was coincidental. I’m hoping so. Will update.

Before I opened this thread I assumed OP meant a jump-start. I couldn't figure out how a jump-start would cause an oil leak. This is way better than I imagined.

Yes, but we don’t even know if it was oil!!! Did he just hit an oily puddle? Did the lube tech make a mess? Was there a leak and it magically stopped? So many questions.

If the fluid has no smell and it evaporates I’d say it’s probably windshield washer fluid .

I meant all the responses to this thread. Of course it was all prompted by his lack of info!

It’s more lack of getting his hand dirty…imo
If my truck is leaking, first thing I do is to touch the fluid and smell it to determine what fluid is it. Then ask the question.
There are like 6-7 fluids in the engine compartment.

Ok guys. Answering all of the questions. It was yellow. Looked like clean engine oil. After my degrease and clean I have not seen anymore leaking.

My bet is on whoever changed the oil made a mess on top of the skid plate.

Took my yota to a Toyota dealership for my oil change. It was by far the messiest oil change ever done on my truck (not to mention the f***ing oil marks on my bumper and door from their f***ing hands on my white Yota). Oil was everywhere underneath. After I cleaned it up it had a little drip left And that was it and it stopped.

Hope you figured it out and went away. Maybe they didn’t put the new o-ring in and it’s slowly dripping.

but still… how high you’d get???? Please answer

I'd say he must have been pretty high when he jumped it. Oh, you mean how high off the ground.
