    If you really want to get deep, we can say todays the over the counter Full Syn is a scam as well. The definition was changed to include Dino Oil with ‘Additives’.

    The OE Toyota brake pads are pretty good, but they aren’t cheap and you have to buy the shims too.

    Raybestos Element3 are good pads for short money, as are the Advics brand pads (very similar to OE as Advics makes some pads for Toyota).

    An option for heavy duty use but with the downside of more noise and dust than OE are Centric Fleet Performance.

    Rockauto has good pricing for the aftermarket pads mentioned.
