I have never once used a jack to change the oil and I’m kind of fat LOL 6’1” 250. On my stock TRD off-road and even easier now that I lifted it with the pro suspension.

It's not about how much space there is to fit your gut, but the distance to move your arms around getting to all the bolts. I cant imagine how fat youd have to be for that to be an issue. It takes less than 60 seconds to get it on jack stands which makes the job much easier and you don't have to worry about contorting your arms or smacking your head.

Usually you would be rotating tires during the oil change...

The bolts weren't that bad. It was getting it into position and getting the hooks in place that was a PITA.

Another reason to get it on jack stands. I slide under on my back with the Skid on my chest. I can see exactly where to line it up and have space to move my arms. Never had trouble doing it this way.

Normally I would just put it up on ramps, but I didn't want to be rolling around in the snow and slush. So I took it to a friend's house who has a garage.

Correct. But I have my method. I don’t want the truck any higher on changing oil I like it where it sits.

You are trying to find something that isn’t there. I’m saying I don’t need to jack the truck up to change the oil. There is plenty of room.
