I’ll be there....hey also trying to bring other tundra friends that aren’t on the site yet...but I have a question...I was looking at wanting to change my listener plate lights, Dome, and back up lights to the super white LEDs like the front running lights and headlamps...Toyota parts doesn’t em, autozone said it’s too new to sell...I was looking on Amazon and they have a 10 pk bulb that appears to be the same size for all three places...but the auto zone guy says that’s not true...I like to match sooooo can you direct me por favor

looks like the license plate light and dome light are the same. The back up light is different.

This is a good plan. Hardywood isn’t in Jackson Ward, but it isn’t in the West End either. It’s safe, but you can get tangled up if you get too far in the wrong direction.

Sketchy is putting it lightly @driverdog :eek2:, seriously though there's plenty of options. I agree with @PermaFrostTRD need to stay a little closer to breweries. I was just @ New Heartywood and that place is awesome!.
Here's me, my nephew, and Chris aka noodle hanging out @ Triple Crossing. Great little brewery. Great beer, friends, and good times. Salute:cheers:

I agree with you Jim. The Richmond city limit areas can be quite problematic at times. Have had employees held up at gun point in the metro area so o avoid the area as much as possible. However the surrounding areas such as where the day meet is (Hanover county) and the West End (Henrico county) run nice clean communities.

I know the sheriff here, have been through their academy and know the type of agency he runs. They even have a special task force designed to specifically keep the crime out of metro Richmond from seeping in. Personally if it was me, I would not risk me or my truck at a hotel in the Richmond city area.

I'm going to try to make it to this and get a couple of my local Tundra friends to go too. I'm the weakest truck out of my local Tundra buddies so I'll be in the back of the group headed there from Northern VA down 95 :D :D

As of now Jim, I'm going and Chris said he was interested. The new Hardywood is huge and very nice. It would be a good choice, there's a ton of breweries so not sure what everyone's going for.

Vail Brewery is another good one, I haven't been but it was recommended by some friends who have been there. Triple Crossing is majority IPAS. Hardywood covers a wide selection as does Vail.

I'm in, my wife is too. Although she's not really into Tundras except for we own one and I spend money on it. Depending on the brewery location we may stay with friends in Henrico that don't know that yet. I'll have the awning on the truck for shade if needed. If something is needed let me know. Not much into detailing so can't help there. But if someone wants to wash my truck...

Sorry I've been slightly MIA. Been pretty sick. I was thinking of the West Creek location on the west end. Its not far from Short pump and probably around 30 minutes from the meeting location, and its decently easy to get to from there, just take 295 around richmond. The area around there is more suburban and is slightly nicer area, and doesn't have cramped city streets. I'm speaking with them via email to set us up for an event there if that would be the general consensus. I'll look for a good hotel over there that's somewhere near the brewery for those who want it.

The West Creek / West End is a much nicer and safer location. Lots of hotel choices over there.

LOL, @GreatAvalon I wrote the previous post before I checked my e-mail. Sounds like a plan lets do a caravan down. Hopefully my project truck (while not done yet) will be operational and I can get someone to drive it down with us.

So the final word on the meeting up?

1.) where are we meeting up?
2.) what time on the 22nd?
3.) Is there any type of an itinerary?
4.) Is there anything we should bring?

    @Angelslure
As of right now. The meeting place for the first event is 8052 Elm Dr. Mechanicsville, VA 23111 at 10am. I'll have an itinerary when I have a confirmation from the brewery as well as hotels. For the most part I think you just bring yourselves and your truck to show off
