Does anyone know if the Yokohama geolandar M/T 295/70R18 will fit on the stock 2022 TRD pro with or without trimming?

For what it's worth, I have a 1794 with the TRD Pro Fox suspension and Cooper Discoverer XLT AT3 295/70 R18s. To eliminate the rubbing, I had to flatten/shape the front most inner liner area with a heat gun/small dead blow hammer and also the mud flaps. I also removed the front small flap and trimmed the "ears" off the stock skid plate. Since then I've replaced with a TRD skid plate, which wouldn't have rubbed or needed trimming. I also have had both 1.25" and now have 1" BORA wheels spacers, so my rubbing might have been a little worse vs. running without spacers. Best.

above link is the 17inch wheels ICON rebound. I'd also suggest maybe looking at the rebound pro, one of my buddy has this on his land cruiser and it looks nice.

For my tundra, I have the icon rebound the exact wheel/tire combo you mentioned and I have not had any problems off-road, on-road, fitment is perfect because I know ICON specifically designed this spec for our tundras.

Thanks for the response, I also had a 2016 Tundra TRD pro and the 295s fit with no rubbing after removing the front flaps. The newer tundras seem to have more room since I’m seeing a lot of people running 37s on their builds but I think the trd pro lift is only 1” and when you do the trd suspension on the other models you get a 2.5” lift - correct me if I’m wrong.

I got right at 2" of lift with the TRD Pro front coil-overs. I added CB 0.25" shims to get 2.5" total lift, but did all the rubbing mods before I added the extra 0.5" of lift. I like the looks of 35" OD tires, but didn't want to do any body mount cuts or major mod. stuff to make them fit. 34" OD tires are pretty easy to make fit I think.

Edit: I've never read anything on this site to make me think the 2020 TRD Pro lifts are 1". I think the Pros provide about 2" over stock, but I'm not the expert on this.

I just ordered the westcott designs preloaded collar lift kit for the 22 trd pro fox suspension, 1.) anyone have experience with it?
2.) They mention using the oem wheels with 37” tires but I’m not see any 37’s that will fit these wheels? Am I missing something?

    • I don’t know much of tire sizes so bare with me. I believe that the tire p275 comes standard from the factory, and I see 255 is an option; which will more likely be better than the other one as far as traction and maybe Gas

3/1 SST Leveling Kit and Roadmaster Active Suspension XD778 MONSTER 18x9 wheels with +18mm offset and Falken WILDPEAK A/T3W 275/65R18 tires
New member here. I've had my 2017 for 5+ years and I finally decided to upgrade the wheels/ tires/ suspension. After getting some great advice from this forum, here is what I installed:
    • 3/1 SST Leveling Kit
    • Roadmaster Active Suspension enhancement on rear leaf springs
    • XD778 MONSTER 18x9 wheels with +18mm offset
    • Falken WILDPEAK A/T3W 275/65R18 tires
Did everything myself (with some help from my son-in-law)...the front leveling kit install was a major PIA! Followed online tutorials, but man, I was regretting my decision about 4 hours in.

    IMG_1242_cropped.jpg IMG_1241_cropped.jpg
    IMG_1243_cropped.jpg

I am really happy with how it turned out! The front wheels rubbed slightly when backing up and turning, so I ended up removing the small mud flap on the front end of the wheel well.

What did y'all do with your OEM wheels/ tires? Is there a market for selling them?

    Cheers!

So I was involved in a hit and run that damaged the front passenger wheel and tire. The jerk slammed into me and drove off. It was XD Rockstar 50mm offset. It was discontinued so no replacement available. Same with the Nitto tire. Picked up these Fuel Sledge wheels 20mm offset with Nitto Recon Grapplers 295/60/20.

The 20mm offset is perfect. The pictures show how they fit both with the fender flare and without. The fender flare is on back order so waiting for the shop to get it in. Just thought it was a good time to show the comparison with fender flares.

    2020 White TRD Pro
Please forgive my dumb newbie question. From what I understand my 2020 TRD Pro already has a 2” lift from the factory. I’d like to upgrade to an 11-12” wide 35” tire. Do I need to be considering any more lift? My plans for the truck are mainly Overlanding BLM and forestry roads pulling my tent trailer. I don’t envision any major rock crawling.

    Thanks.

None to day....that’s why I’m here.
You will have to get bumper spacers or remove plastic fender liner in front of the wheel and the mud flap behind the wheel. Also will need rims or spacers that are 25mm or less to clear UCA’s.
