What is the ideal offset to minimize rubbing? This video says 0-12, but that seems against what I’ve heard elsewhere. Is it better to stay close to the OEM offset or to widen the stance if my goal is to decrease rubbing where it may be marginal?

General consensus is +25 is the ideal offset, which should at least keep you from needing a BMC with the correct alignment. There are a lot of other factors that go into it though, like lift, tire width, sidewall and tread pattern, etc.

Ok that makes sense. The 0-12 seemed way too wide to me. I’m aware that there are other factors involved, but I’m ordering some wheels and want to choose an offset that I gives me the most options for tire size if I want to size up later.

I'd like to do this but use a 295/60/20 with my stock wheels. My current setup is 275/60/20. I need a little more poke as I have none now. I figure that 295/60 will get me nice and flush...

While waiting on my front coilovers to come in, thought I'd better test fit and perform a drivability test.

MR701 18x9 +25 w/ 35x12.50r18 Ridge Grapplers at stock ride height with mild BMC, CoachBuilder front bumper shims, removed front flaps, happy to report that there is no rubbing.

Lookin good! I was set on 17" 701's but the 305's make the 18's nice and proportionate.

Love this! I'm putting 305/70 17s on +25 in the next week or two. Do you have any pics down the side to show the poke?

This wheel setup has worked well for me during the past 21 years. Factory 16in wheels with 265/70 tires.

I'm thinking of going to put my wheels and tires on in the morning before I add my lift next week.

Do you think I will have issues installing Ridge Grappler 295/70R18's on Method 317's with +18 offset. Will it rub on 2021 TRD Pro if I remove the mudflaps?

Went down to 18’s. Liking more meat. Icon Rebound Titanium’s +25 with 275/70/18 Falkens. Very little noise. Ride well. Enjoying the positive comments from the guys at work.

You’ll still likely run into rubbing on the bumper plastics, but those are easy enough to push forward and get some clearance. There are a few good write ups on here but let me know if you have trouble finding one.
