5" lift 20x12 fuel with 35" nitto ridge graplers. Full led and secaine 9" android head unit.
The front inner liner has to go, which is only covering the headlights and actualy makes it easier to change the bulbs, and they grind a small amount the cab mount which is on the inner fender on the drivers door side. Ill add a picture later. At full Drop and Full turn i have Zero Rub.

I am de-chroming my bumpers. Rear is getting replaced with a black powder coated one, and i plan to do the Nfab on the front.

All of y'all have really nice-looking rims.

I'm just a simple guy who finally decided to swap steel for alloy rims (SR5) given to me by a friend that's been sitting in the garage for over 7 years!

They look beautiful to me. But the most amazing part is how much lighter my truck feels and handles/rides.

Can't believe I've waited for 12 yrs to finally upgrade parts on my truck (i.e. headlights, fog lights, tail lights, & rims).

I'm hoping to get some help from everyone on what size tires i could put on my Pro. looking at replacing my stock wheels with 20s. But not sure how big of tires i can go with. I have a Coach Builder TRD Pro kit on it with Bora 1.25" spacers, and a C4 Overland front bumper. here is some pics of what i have now but hopefully not for long!

Stuck with OEM, 275/65R18. Really changed the look of the truck compared to the 255/70 Michelins.

Yup, it was much better than i expected, so much so that I may backburner getting new wheels. Was figuring i could just transfer the tires later but i am really liking this look, tires now are almost even with the end of the wheelwell.

Man, that's a bad Tundra and those wheels you already have would look sweet on 295/70 R18's, but if you ever want to part with them, I might be interested. ;)

Thinking about making this same move. How is the ride with the new tires? Can you tell any differences?

Yes, there is a noticeable difference for me. The new tires feel "stickier" in a sense, resulting in a more stable feel, especially in turns. If feels more grounded in corners. The truck also feels heavier in a way but I have not noticed any hit in mpg and I am pretty meticulous on the calculations and checking the on board calculations. Still getting 15-16.5 on mostly highway commute with some hilly terrain.

Thanks for the compliment. Had to remove the small front flap. Then marked where the tires rubbed and used a heat gun and small dead blow hammer to shape the front liner maybe 1/2” toward the bumper cap to clear. Removed the mud flaps and used the heat gun to flatten out and stop a little rub there too. All in all it was pretty easy work. Of course without the 1.25” wheel spacers I might not have had to do as much.

Great info, thank you. I am going with a +6 offset wheel, so I may be out a bit further than your spacer. But there are so many damn posts about who fixed rubbing, who didn't even rub, and who needed metal chopped! I ha e spent literally hours searching this site!! Lol, rant over. Thanks again.

Sure. I think once you get to 34" + in tire diameter, it doesn't take much for them to rub somewhere and all the variables of tire brand, wheel offset, etc. really come into play...makes it a PITA to figure out! :annoyed: Beautiful Tundra BTW!

Benefits include: to help with larger tire fitment (35 and 37 fit easier with +25mm backspacing), more rubber when off road to air down for a longer contact patch, smoother ride quality (if apples to apples, a change to e-rated tires will make your truck stiffer and rougher riding) more rim protection. And you hit the nail on the head with aesthetics, the 17” truck wheel with a lot of meat is a popular look right now!
285/75r17 and 18 both work great for taller and not super wide look.
And think they make a skinny winter tire that’ll fit stock steel 18” great.CE92CF4D-5677-45D5-9044-57834F7E2249.jpg285/75r18 Falken have been great for me the last 20k mi. Skid plate bend (have since replaced with bash plate), front spat removal, minor sway-bar rub (removed with bash plate install), have the full Dobinsons 55mm lift and these are the heavy packs so I got that rake for days lol.

I guess I'll add my official entry to this thread:

    2019 SR5, Stock Suspension, Black Rhino Stadium 18x8.5 +10, Falken Wildpeak AT3W 275/70/18 E.

Front Wheel: Removed front wind flap, removed mud flap. Was rubbing on both at full lock forward and reverse. Pulled front liner forward about 1/2", removed underside bolts, pulled forward, drilled new hole in liner and secured using existing threads. No more Rub.

Is the truck at stock height or what lift do you have. I have a 2021 version of that truck and trying to decide what to do. Thanks.
