@Reg151 how are your jesters holding up? I read some online reviews saying certain parts of the rim are some kind of composite plastic material (?), and people were concerned with durability. Have you noticed any issues?

The red accent pieces as well as the 8 big washers on the edge of the rim are plastic.
I believe the red accent pieces are stuck on with a type of double sided tape.

Hey fellas, I’m new to the forum and the tundra world. Got a question. I have a 2019 TRD 4x4 with the xp gunner package. Looking to put amp mud terrain attacks 33x12.50. Keeping stock ultra gunner wheels. They are 20x9 with +30mm offset. Will the rough country 1.75” level be enough to clear these without trimming? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the compliments. Here are a couple more old pics of my truck. I also added some red accents on the wheels.
I'm on TRD Pro (Billy) suspension and had to remove the front flaps and trim the liners a bit due to rubbing. I still have rubbing issues when backing up with the wheel on a quarter turn - tires rubbing against the body mount, but I can live with it.

    Hi all,

Occasional lurker - first time poster.

Sorry if these questions has been asked/answered before - I searched but couldn't find what I was looking for. So here it is:

Will an 18" steel wheel from a 2013 Tundra fit on a 2014 Tundra? The only difference appears to be the bore size, with the 2014 wheel being .5 mm larger than the earlier wheel.

Is the tolerance that tight or will they fit?

Also will the TPMS sensors on the 2013 wheels pair with the 2014 truck?

I understand that I need specific lug nuts for the steel wheels.

Thanks in advance for the help,
    Dave

How much poke can you get away with before the tires start throwing rocks at your paint and necessitate fender flares? I like the look of wheel poke but don’t like fender flares, I believe they promote rust especially up in Canada where trucks see a lot of road salt.

If you’re concerned about the tires throwing stuff, stay with stock width. It doesn’t take much at all, any part of the tire sticking out will throw grime on your Paint

I think the answer is yes, but I want to confirm.

I am looking to buy a new 2019 or 2020 Tundra. Will the stock wheels from any 2014+ model year tundra fit the 2019 and 2020? I need a second set of wheels for snow tires, and I find that used stock wheels are generally the least expensive. Or do you guys run something else for snow tires?

Only thing to consider is alloy vs steel. They use different lug nuts

So I went to Big O yesterday to get a quote on rims / tires. I have a 2016 SR5 with a 2.5” / 2” spacer lift. I really want to get Nitto Ridge Grapplers in 285/60r20 with Fuel Maverick 20x9 with 20mm offset, but the guy told me they wouldn’t fit. Looking at my current stock setup (255/70r18), I have about 1.5” of clearance in the front wheel well (when fully turned), so if I go with the Fuel / Nitto combo it likely would require some trimming.

Anyone else have the same setup I want? Curious if you had troubles fitting the tires. Not sure if I need to re-think the lift I have or drop to 18” rims and a slightly smaller size tire. Appreciate any thoughts / insight.

If it rubs just get the body mount cut. 250 bucks max

    I'm sorry.

Honestly, I don't think that setup is too much at all.
I would bet they fit fine. At most maybe need to remove the mudflaps and shim the front bumper/ massage the plastic.
Head over to a Discount Tire, tell them what you want and see what they can do to get you one of those wheel/ tire assemblies (or something really close with very similar offset) test fit on the truck.

OK I have a 2007 RCSB that from what I am able to measure has 1.25 inch spacer block at the rear leaf and front is level with the rest (sorry I didn't measure the front spacer) This Truck I purchased just a little bit ago has 295/65-R - 20 Tires on it yes I know that the Rims are 20 inch Toyota Rims however the factory specs show delivered with P255/70R18. The Truck runs great and handles very good with the 295/65R20's on it yes they do rub a very little bit on a Hard turn to the steering stop but they do not do anything but leave a little shine mark on the tires. < ----- Now with that out of the way I plan to get new tires for this Truck and want to keep the 20 inch rims and love the looks of these tires but I really do not need them this big so what everyone think I should go for in size? I am Not doing serious off Road with this Truck will do mild but I have a Tacoma for the serious off road stuff the Tundra will be for Towing the boat and what other trouble I may get me into I do want AT type for sure because I say I won't but I know me better than that.

Looking for input for a very budget friendly 17” rim and tire combo that will fit a 2020 Tundra crewmax SR5 4x4. My truck is stock but has been leveled to allow for slightly larger rubber. I plan to use this rim/tire combo for approximately 3 months during the summer for trips. The other 9 months I will use my 20” pavement slippers

    My only criteria is that;
-It would be ideal for easy and medium trails.
-Able to hold a bead for airing up and down tires.
-sell at a great price point.
-tires should be able to handle rock, dirt and mud.

yes I realize you get what you pay for but I’m not interested in spending a lot of money on rims that will be roughed up.

My 2020 CM Platinum is at the dealer, having some work done. Ironically enough one of the items is swapping the TPM sensors into my 2011 Rock Warrior wheels. They have 285/70R17 Kelly AT tires on them. I can give feedback and post pictures when I get the truck back. It could be ready as early as tomorrow.
