This is great as its the tyre size and lift I am considering. Did you have to any trimming for that and do you have wheels spacers in?

New to the group and was looking for a little help. I bought a 2019 trd sport which comes with 20" stock wheels with a +60 offset. Im looking to put 18" wheels with a +20 offset and can't figure out how much my tires will be sticking out. I've seen a few charts but haven't been able to figure it out. I'll be running a 275/70/18 tire if that helps.

Offset is measured in millimeters, so from 60 to 20 your tires will be 40 millimeters (1.575 inches) further out than the OEM tires. If you change tire width it will change the equation a little, but seems like you will stick with 275.
It should look something like this link, from a few posts up.

My 2012 Crewmax had 275/65/20's on it when I bought it. 285/55/20 was the stock size they used for the Texas Edition.
The 275/65/20 is about a 34x11 size tire.
The tires fit fine on stock suspension with a tad bit of rubbing on the front plastic though it never made a noise.
When I went with the new Vision wheels (20x9, +12) I had to remove the mud flaps and the small aero guard on the front bumper. It manages to still touch plastic but shimming the front bumper forward would correct that.
I don't mind not having mud flaps as the truck rarely sees any offroad usage. It is a 2wd after all.

This is after installing Eibach Pro Sport shocks on the top notch which yields an "average" of 2" lift.

Another source for picts is customwheeloffset.com. In the gallery you can specify exactly what you are looking for - tundra, wheel size, tire size, offset, and more. Customers post picts so you can see what a specific tire size and offset look like.

You wouldn’t want it right now anyway. It’s got a serious case of “shouldn’t have been wheeling without a cage.”
Needs a new cab because the A pillar is smashed in by about 6” after putting it on its side.
If I don’t get a new cab I’m cutting the roof off at the base of the a pillar and reconstructing with tube.

I had a internal cage already, but I rolled it and it started rattling really bad, so it got the sawzall. I also did a 2rz swap with a automatic. I want a sas Tacoma really bad.

    That looks like Jimmy's truck!

I'd like to stay streetable. If I cage it without a new cab it will have a lexan windshield and soft top to keep most of the elements out.

Wow! How far would you say those stick out past the fenders? Any trimming or issues going that wide?

Recommendation? stock 20 rims, Goodrich AT KO2 or Nitro Ridge Grapplers, 275/60's no lift or other mods. will 285/60 rub. I have fender flares so no problem with width other than rubbing issues, Whats the group say?

If I don't go 17's - 285/60/20 is what I will do. Minimal plastic trim ... I believe good balance without re-gearing. I plan to go Nitto RG non- E load range. Good luck.

Any idea on what part of the plastic will be trimmed, if it is just the front bumper mud flap I do not mind losing that. If anyone has any pictures, that would be great.

I only know from what I researched. I have read minor trim on wheel well liner and maybe lose that small "air dam" flap in front. Recommed use this site to the fullest- tons of great threads on tire/wheel... I have Bilstein 6612 set at 1.9" and 5160, +2 CB shackle (1.25"), 3 CB coiler shims in my garage. I will get that installed once I need new tires... So truck will be around 2.5 " in front and almost leveled (should have a slight rake). Also have a diff drop and carrier bearing kit. If I go to 17" wheels I am looking at Icon Rebounds (+25 offset with 110mm bore) and either KO2s or RGs. If I stay with 20" wheels (+40 offset) I will most likley go 285/60. Prefer 17's, however budget is a factor.
