Just my personal opinion, but I hate anything aftermarket when it comes to electronics. I'm in the business and have seen WAY too many "Gremlins" introduced this way. I just know that I'm off 2-3 mph @ HWY/Freeway speeds. Close enough for me. But again, just my $.02

I am really curious to see how this one turns out? I hope for your sake that I'm wrong but I don't see those fitting on a stock suspension, especially with +1 offset wheel?

What size leveling kit and what is the backspacing on those wheels? This is the look I want. Great looking truck!

Thank you sir! Camburg put a kit together and it’s a combination of fox 2.5 coilovers and rear 2.0 fox shocks with Camburg UCA. The wheel offset is 18x9 5x150 offset +25.

Haha me too but said it should be ok. So we’ll see. If it requires too much trimming I may have to get a small lift, but trying to avoid it. We shall see on Tuesday.

I've added bigger tires to every truck I've ever had in the past 25 years and have never done anything to recalibrate the speedometer. I just remember to make a mental note to myself that I may be going a bit faster than what the speedometer indicates and adjust my speed accordingly.

By GPS, the speedo is off by 1.15 mph (slower) at 60mph. Speedo reads 60, GPS reads 61.15. I'm sure it will be slightly more off at higher speeds.

yep, your speedo is off by 1.92% and the higher the speed, the higher the value that 1.92% will be.

I have a 2018 sr5 4x4 off-road CM. I have a set of fuel sledge 20x9 +20. I plan on getting a 3/1 level and tires/wheels put on at the same time. I’ve been waiting for Uncle Sam to give me my money back and he’s finally paid up so I’m ready.

I’ve spent many hours looking through the different wheel and tire threads. Issue I’m having is conflicting info around here. Some people say they put on 35x12.5 with the setup I’m going for with no cmc, some people got the cmc. I’m good with trimming/bending plastic and removing mud flaps but don’t want the cmc. Are the 35’s gonna fit or do I need to go down to a 34x11.5 ?

I cant say 4 sure or not, but can tell u the reason theres conflicting reports. That's due to offset as main factor. The more negative offset the more likely u will need a cmc. Another factor wheel width and true tire size, the more narrow the less likely. Hope this helps.

Every vehicle is slightly different, but I would be amazed if the CMC was not needed with full 35 x 12.5's. See pics of my 18 CM. I have the same lift/level with 315/70x17 (34.5" x 12.6") on ICON 6 speeds +25. I rub the cab mount ever so slightly in reverse at full lock.
Check the tire manufacturer for actual dimensions as there is quite a range between tire brands/models

35x12.5 Pitbull Rockers on 17x8.5 method 313s matte black in 0 offset. A very aggressive bmc and front bumper cut was needed.

I’m looking at the Nitto ridge grapplers. The 2 sizes I’ve been contemplating are the 35x12.5r20 (34.76x12.52) and the 285 65 r20 (34.8x11.5). My understanding is the width is the issue not the height so much right? Would an inch less of width solve the possibility of rubbing the cab mount?

I'm running 18x9 Fuel Sledge +1 offset, I also didn't want them to stick out as far as they do (about 2"+). I decided after a couple weeks of driving around getting covered in mud and hearing rocks kicking up into the door panels to add fencer flares. I like the way the tires look sticking out, just don't want to constantly deal with the mess. I'll post up some pictures once the flares are on (at body shop getting painted).

I freaking love this truck. My favorite part is that it isn’t lifted sky high on those meaty tires.

Man, sorry I can't say for sure. I originally had 35-12.50x17's same measurements as the nittos, they rubbed only in reverse at full lock. Hard to say for sure with the 285-65's. Most reputable tires shops will mount them up for you to try. Sorry, every truck is just a little different. My gut says the narrower tire would be good to go. I am on a 3" coilover lift toytec/eibach w/Zone UCA's

Thank you. Yeah I'm gonna say you cant fit anymore tire in there on 3 inches upfront and still have full suspension travel. I love the look.

Looks pretty much what I expect mine to come out like. What did you have to do to fit them?

It has a 3 inch lift. Some minor trimming to the front inside of the wheel well and removal of the mud flaps was required. No metal trimming needed which is what I was really trying to avoid.

I have a Toyota installed Ready Lift 3/2 lift, the wheels are Fuel Sledge 18x9 +1 offset, tires are Nitto Ridge Graps 285/65r18. Definitely could have gone bigger on the tires, next time....

What are the specs on the tires? Great looking setup. I'm running a white 1794 and want to do the same...
