Side view of my +30 offset wheels. They stick out just past the flares. Enough to throw mud all down the side of my truck, but most of the rocks stay under it.

All offsets are different. If you're looking to go out about an inch and a half you can buy a set of spacers instead of new wheels if you want. If not, go for an offset of +18 or +20.

I'm happy with my new SCS wheels. Was a little hesitant with the 25 offset, but they seem to hit a sweetspot. A hair outside the fender, which would seem to work well with both trucks with and without the fender flares. I had a pair of BFG KO2's put on with them 285/65-18 and it accomplished my goal of not having to adjust/trim/remove anything....and should look properly proportioned when the 6112's go on up front and the 5100's out back later this week. We'll see...

    • 20″ rims: 285/60 R20 – 4/10ths wider and 1.5 inches taller than factory.
Is this max size tire on factory 20" wheel(Limited)?
Bilstein 5100 level install next week.
Just looking for A/T with more side wall. Most likely KO2.

Probably max size if you don't want to trim and remove mudflaps. If you're willing, you can probably go a little bigger.

Thanks joonbug. I need a wider taller A/T capable of airing down in the sand. Would like to avoid replacing wheels until I check off a few other Mods.

You're not going to be able to go much wider than that. Control arm is going to be really close with the stock wheel setup.

    Looking at KO2 275/60 R20. Current dualers 255/55. if 65 gains 1.5" height surely 60 would gain 1".

Should have enough room to air down to 15-17 lbs. Also look decent with level stance.

Any other size recommendations are welcome. Rather avoid trim and keep mud flaps.

The 33" tires will look good with the level stance. You're talking almost an 11" wide tire. You should be good without any mods. It's still gonna be really close on that control arm. I had a +50 and I could barely fit my finger between the tire and control arm.

    255 55=31"
    275 60=33"
    275 65=34"

This is height of tire, height of truck is half. And don't get too close to the UCA... I'm sure when you air down the tires will spread wider

Same thing I had. But the offset on his wheels are a +60 I'm pretty certain. 10 mm difference and airing down is going to be awful close on that control arm.

Mine was stock. I'm not sure the 2 inches is enough for the control arm to clear the tire. I'll check in the morning to be sure.

Yeah, you're probably right, 10mm is almost a half inch

I had Billy 5100s on middle setting with CB shims totaling about 2.5" inch lift on that setup for a little while.

    I have a 2016 limited DC with a 3/2 lift. I'm looking at the 18" level 8 mk6 with a +12 offset. Would I be able to clear 35x12.5

Idk of any tires in 305/75-18, there's a few in 305/70-18 though. A 285/75-18 is a decent amount skinnier, but I think you may still need a CMC for it too as well as 305/70 and 295/70.

So what is a good offset to avoid the cmc for 35s with a 3/2. (All this tundra stuff is new to me, I'm coming from an 06 Tacoma on 35s)
