Will a 275/70/R16 fit on the spare wheel that came with a 2006 Tundra Double Cab 4x4? If so, will that fit back underneath in the spare tire well?

Original color was Matte Anthrocite but could only obtain 3/4 due to being discontinued. Had to buy 1 in a different color. Then had all 4 powder coated in Evo Grey with a 30-40% satin gloss. Turned out great. Just enough poke for my liking.

I see a lot of different wheels. I think I will keep my stock rims. They look better. Stock is better

The hard part quite frankly is just too many choices! There is a couple of entire threads dedicated to pics of just wheels
and tires, how they look and fit. Most guys add specs. Hardest part is figuring out this damned offset for each one.
The thing I've noticed is 20" wheels are a real personal choice, not the most popular for the function crowd.
Poke - offset is completely personal. I've seen dozens of cool looking trucks right up until I see straight profile
shots and I actually shake my head. Old guy. LOL.

Just installed Bilstein 5100s at middle setting and got 34" BFG AT KO3 installed. (275/65R20). First choice was wildpeak at4ws but they're on back order everywhere.
Ride is worse but they look awesome.
I have 1.5" wheel spacers ready to install but waiting on my longer M14 wheel studs to arrive from Japan.

Without any offset they just barely touch the sway bar at full lock but not enough to notice, and they would rub the skid plate if not trimmed or bent out of the way. (I've since fixed the skid plate that I had bent out of the way in the photo lol)

Picked up a 2018 SR double cab long bed. Gotta get rid of the grandpa wheels.

This link https://www.tundras.com/threads/official-tundra-wheel-and-tire-setups-pics-and-info.95/ says a 285/65 R18 will fit with the stock suspension, possible trimming.

I'm looking at the Method 701s in black, either 17 or 18 inch. 17s would be sick and it looks like they clear the brakes no problem, but whats the max tire size on 17s?

I dont know shit about wheels, and will probably thrown Defender LTXs or Wildpeaks on. Do a lot of road driving, all conditions including a lot of snow. Some offroad to hit the dirt bike trails. Any help would be great.

What fits will depend on the wheels you choose, offset specifically. Stock wheels are +60 and you can fit a 34 tall, 11.3ish wide tire on those wheels, stock no lift. In 18s, size is 285/70-18. Have to lose the front air spats under bumper and if you have the OR package skid, may need to trim or bend the wings. TRD skid needs no mod. UCA clears fine.

Lower offset has the wheels/tires pushed on to the side of the truck, so depending on tire size, you may rub bumper or bodymount/mudflap area.

I think the methods are +25 offset. Look over the wheel forum- tons of pics and info with trucks running that offset and all sorts of different size tires. I would expect a 33tall, 11 wide tire would work with +25, but look around here at the treads to verify. I am certain there are threads with similar setup.

2021 Trd pro with Falkan Wildpeak A/T4W 285/70/r18 rubbing
Just bought new tires for my tundra that have 50k miles on older tires. Saw other people put 285/70/18 on stock trd pro suspension, with no rubbing. I brought the tires to be installed at a tire shop and they said there was rubbing. Would it be better just to buy 1.75 inch spacers or move down to 285/65/18? Real bummer since I thought 285/70/18 would fit and waited like 2 months since the tires were on back order on tire rack.

Stock truck or aftermarket wheels? For that size tire, you need to remove the front air flaps under front bumper. Should fit otherwise as long as you have stock +60 offset wheels, no wheel spacers. It could rub on the skid plate, but that is easy to trim the wing off. Where is it rubbing?

Stock trd wheels. The mechanic didn’t mention where it would rub but he mentioned the suspension, guessing the upper control arm. I would have installed it at another shop but don’t want to void the return policy for the tires.

Looking at all these wheels, I can't wait to mount mine on. 17x8.5 0 offset on 37x12.5

With that being said, which tpms sensors should I go with aftermarket that will work with the tundra?

I've heard that it's rough getting to re-learn them.

Which ones did yall go with?

    Link would be a plus!!!!

285/70-18 should not rub UCA on stock +60 offset wheels. I run 285/75-18...even taller than yours, with no issues from UCA. You need to find out where it was rubbing, probably something minor and easily addressed...and a good alignment may help with any rub too.

17" will fit over stock brakes, have to watch the placement of the wheel weights from what I've read. I bought some Method 17" with +35 offset but I haven't bought the tires yet, I plan to use balancing beads to eliminate the worry about the wheel weights.

yep, seen plenty of people on here running 17" Icon rims. +25 offset will just poke out a little more. I currently have +25 offset and wanted to try and get them a little more flush or just a slight poke, plus a little more clearance for larger tires.

Will 285/70R17 on 17x8.5 with 25mm offset and 5.75 backspace rub on stock suspension? Looking for the max tire size that wont rub. I want to keep the mud flaps.

In the process of buying tires and deciding what size to put on. I currently have the 20x8 OEM wheels +60 offset and am curious what is the largest tire some of you have on it? I see mixed answers and what I read says 275/60/20 is the largest but would like to do slightly larger. I have a 1.75" leveling kit on the truck as well.

Take a look at this thread...
    https://www.tundras.com/threads/largest-tire-you-can-run-stock-for-all-generations.9762/

Says with a 1.5-2" leveling kit you can fit up to 285/60R20 on stock rims. I'm leveled and running 285/60R20 on 20x9" +25 rims currently and I don't rub, front air deflectors are removed.

20x9 Texas Edition BBS wheels +50 offset with 295\65R20 RBP Repulsors R\T, Should be about a 35 inch tall tire and 11.5 inch wide. No Spacers, Some rubbing on front fender\mudflap thingy, Skid plate, and sway bar. Skid plate was cut so it doesn't rub anymore, front mud flap removed, and going to modify the front plastic based off another thread on here to push it in about an inch, mainly rubs when going in reverse and turning about 1\2 way. Sway bar only slightly hits at full lock when suspension is moving or in a compressed position. On flat ground there is 1\4 inch clearance of the sway bar.

Have a 2 inch Rough Country leveling struts up front, nothing in the back.
