Man, you have an awesome setup! That’s cool you got so close to stock numbers. First thing I wanted to do was weigh them, but I didn’t get a chance to and had to get them mounted right when they came in or they would’ve sat in the garage for a long time. Lol. However, I can guarantee they’re under 25 lbs. I could hold one box with a wheel in it up with one hand. My goal was also to get close to stock weight, and I’m pretty sure it’s within 1-2 lbs. it’s still just blowing my mind the mpg is just as good as it was with the smaller tires, and if I really try to drive consciously- it’s better.

Thank you sir! Yeah BFDs look super cool to me, not flashy but not “stock”. 25lbs for 18” is great, as alot of 35”s are 60ish lbs. so that combo should be very stock like. When I switched out mine I may have lost .5 mpgs over 5k miles or so. But what was interesting is how I calculated out I am traveling 7% further than stock (so mileage is off), however all the gps units I looked at said it was only 3-4% faster than what the speedo was saying. That means stock these Tundras are driving 3ish% slower than what the speedo says haha (so everyones “hand calculated mileage” is likely 3% overstated) and when you think you’re going 65 you’re really going 63. Obviously with 35s now when the speedo says 65 its about 67-68 for the state trooper about to pull me over.

Truck looks awesome! It's another great example of how the aptly named 'Rebound' finds a way. There's a lot of members who chose the rebound as a second choice. Two years ago I waited 3-4 months for the 'Six speed' in a gunmetal finish, got tired of waiting and settled on the rebound.20220323_194149.jpg
Can't imagine a different wheel now and I love the way they look!

Just installed 275/70r18 Kenda Klever RTs on stock wheels. Added a 2” spacer lift up front to level and keep factory ride. Still have some rake because I have RAS in the rear.

Nice! I'm currently running a 305/70 17, but will probably go with the 285/75 on my next set. Looks great!

I debated that tire size too. Ultimately didn’t want that wide of a tire. Pretty good tire selection in the 285/75. Love your truck

Love the look. Did you end up adding your own center cap for the F5 wheels?

I took the rear wheels off, wire wheel on the rust, primer then semi gloss paint. The front has factory caps.

My '21 had some decent looking chrome Centerline 20x10 wheels and half worn 285/55/20 Toyo Open Country AT3 tires. I'm not a fan of the chrome, and wanted a little bigger tires, so I picked up a set of 33x12.50x20 Kenda Klever RTs and had the wheels painted gunmetal. I like it so much better!

I’ve been contemplating getting these same tires 295/70r18 SL, you are the only one I’ve come across who has them non e-rated.
You mentioned that the mpg’s stayed the same…have you recalibrated your speedometer?
Do they seem to settle much under added weight(that is if you’ve towed or hauled with them yet)?

Regarding other tires that are non-E rated.

New Wrangler Territories. They make some aggressive looking ATs in ~35". They are available in 315/70r17 (MT), C load, 35psi max, S speed, 52 lb each.... and 325/65r18 (AT: this size has the same tread as the MT, which means "maximum traction" not "mud terrain"), D load, 50 psi max, T speed, 65 lbs each. Cost ~$300 each. I haven't used them and I don't know if they are any good, but I like the concept. There are many "pro" reviews, but not many customer reviews.

How much of a decline in fuel economy have you seen with the 35's? I think 35's look much better than 33's but I don't know if I am willing to sacrifice the gas mileage... because it already sucks haha

I didn't see any decline vs stock Bridgestones. Depends on the tires you get. If you are looking at tires that are identical except for size, then the bigger ones should have a bit better rolling resistance at the expense of higher aero drag. Acceleration will suffer some due to the higher gearing.

I get the same as before...never ran the numbers but here they are.

    Fuel Anza 18x9 = 31 lbs
    Nitto Ridge Grapplers 275/70-18 = 59 lbs
    90 lbs total

    SCS F5 18x9 = 24.75 lbs
    BFG KO2 35/12.5-18 = 67.86 lbs
    92.61 lbs

Tires and wheels weigh 2.61 lbs more with SCS F5 and BFG KO2 35/12.5-18s.

Pretty! you might be able to avoid a BMC by spacing out your bumper and stuff, and moving your wheels forward with the LCA cams. It'll be close though with 0 offset and 35s.
