I just picked up a 2013 (last year of RCSB).
Flew to OK from Vegas and drove it back home. Ran perfect and averaged 14.5mpg.

SR5, TRD Off Road, Rear view mirror with rear camera/homelink - Black.
Still has 2 years left on Toyota platinum warranty

Truck had the following options added at dealer when new:
    TRD Supercharger
TRD Big Brake Kit (the big 16” rotor 6 piston kit, not the smaller updated 4 piston kit)
    TRD 20” Wheels
    TRD Dual Exhaust
TRD Accessory Kit (shift knob, engine oil/radiator caps, etc.)
    ......
    Heated leather buckets
    Remote start

Much more than book, but book does not assign value to TRD accessories.

That's not a number...of course you paid more than book. Its an RCSB. I paid $16,800 for my 2007 with 54000 miles 4 years ago.

They can also be used as air speed brakes if you and a passenger can hold them open while moving.

I thought that my truck had just about every factory option. Mine did not have the auto darkening rear view mirror w/camera, but it was wired for it. Mine didn't have a rear slider either. Those are the two that I've noticed.

The point is the purchase price is irrelevant once it goes beyond what the bank/insurance company recognize. Anything over book is based solely on the value perceived by the buyer, which differs from person to person. So it’s all relative...it was listed for $30k and sat in a Garage last 3 years. All service done at Toyota.

Yes - I need to raise the front to negate the stance. Thinking about active suspension in rear.

Mine is an extremely rare truck configuration. But I would say other than basic work truck grade, all of our trucks are extremely rare based on factory/dealer installed parts.

Everyone should post their sticker (if possible) to see how much they vary.

I looked for this truck with these options for about 10yrs. I just got extremely lucky and the timing of mysherona did help me seal the deal before it could get scooped up.

I also learned RCSB apparently were not ordered with tow packages. It’s not on my sticker, but it’s a factory install. I learned the 4x4 just always came with that option. Probably for the aux cooling.

Purchase price is relevant to figuring out the actual value of these vehicles. Thats why I asked. As an owner of one it interests me in what they go for. They're rare and its difficult to find out what people are paying for them.

Near as I can tell, yours and mine are quite alike, from the factory, not including dealer installed items. The Optional Equipment packages are different, but many of the individual items overlap. And yours obviously has the TRD Package, which I forgot to mention.

I totally fell into this truck. I was looking for something for my Tacoma and randomly decided to see if Toyota made a RCSB Tundra. My primary requirements were the 5.7L, 4WD, and bucket seats. I bought it in 2014 for $23.500, it had 37k miles. I rode a fully packed Greyhound bus to Missouri that reeked of weed through the night, and drove it back to Colorado the next afternoon. They broke the windshield with the pressure wand while washing it and I had to wait for them to replace it.

Anyway here's my window sticker with all the brick-a-brack (I see that the MSRP is cut off, it's $29,130):

Honestly, I took the factory rubber floor mats that came with the truck and put them back there. The things I put back there don't go anywhere unless it's because they're too tall for the corners I'm taking. I've never read of anything already make for that space, but I like to think that I could find something similar to the mats I have at Home Depot and trim it to fit inside the raised perimeter lip. I've also thought about putting some small tie-down type loops on the vertical edge so I could use bungee cords/netting to secure things, but the need to do that really hasn't pushed me.

I have also considered several options, but never did anything because
I didn't have a tonneau cover for my first RCSB road trip, so everything was packed tightly into the cab so nothing slid around... I was impressed by just how much stuff fit back there.

Subsequent trips had me packing & securing almost everything under cover in the bed, with soft & light items stashed behind the seats.

Any of you all ever noticed a Flex Fuel RCSB? A pal was sharing his experience with the alcohol readings being wonky on his FFV and I was reflecting on the fact that when I was shopping my truck, I didn't even know about FFVs and was wondering if I was merely fortunate in finding one that wasn't, or if there aren't any.:monocle:

I'm trying to recall the first year of the FFV, it wasn't as late as 2013 was it? If so, and that being the final year of the RCSB, they would be exceedingly rare, thankfully.

Edit: Found it, 2009 was the first year of the FFV.

Hello, new to this site and I also have a RCSB 2008 SR5 5.7L w/50k miles. Silver color with bucket seats, snug top tonneau, perfect interior always with covers and dash cover. Very clean paint always garaged or covered, limited 20" wheels. Really loved and taken care of. I am getting to the point where I am thinking about selling it this summer. I live in Los Angeles and was wondering if anyone has any thoughts on how much I should I ask for this truck. I know it's rare particularly with the options, color and condition. Thanks for any information

It's rare, but it's only worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it... you can always keep driving it if the offer is lower than you want to accept.

thanks for your response. Yeah, no rush to have to sell but also wouldn't mind moving on to the next thing. Do you think asking $20k is out of this world?

Hell no not at 52,000 miles. Good looking tundra you have with such low miles and they only made a certain amount of the RCSB. One day they will be worth money...
