Replica Wheels +60 stock offset and Toyo R/T Trail 285/75R18. No lift. I’m going to drop the back end about 3”. Curious to see how that works out. I want it level unlifted. But looks good. Heavier on the steering wheel but not a shiver or shimmy so they are balanced. The guys at OK Tire said minimal weights no issues. Tq @ 96 psi.

Looks good! No rubbing, for instance, when turning in reverse?

No, I have a good 1" in the turns. The kid checking torque even checked that when we retorqued at the tire shop this morning. Surprised he looked and noticed. Cool.
I'm going in to have rears checked for balance, just a slight shiver in the back. dozen donuts all around for the tire crew though, they did a good job and didn't scratch my new wheels either.

First 200 km trip to Vic and back. Straight tread line makes a nice bit of tire noise. Louder than the MT's, kinda surprised.
No difference to economy, the engine is strong enough to compensate. Can feel the weight on lift off though, and
being stiffer than the Coopers transfers road conditions stronger. It's a truck, so far so good.

They are making fun of us over on the 2nd Gen page. I don’t know why? Perhaps because this truck is 15’3” wide and 17’3”long.

So found this 2023 Leer 100XL canopy. I have confirmed it 6'6". Is it impossible to fit on regular cab?
I guess the tailgate lower edge is an issue?

When I purchased my truck the dealer never disclosed the bed rot under the slide in liner. After some haggling back and forth once I got home. We came to a logical agreement and they cut me a check to help replace the bed. Finally got around to slipping it on this summer and she is in the body shop now getting painted up. But it was fun cruising in a two tone for a bit hahaha.

I have a pretty high price tolerance if I know what I’m looking for isn’t easy to come by and finally spot it.

I feel like it’s priced right, considering its rarity, apparent condition and mileage. The 5.7 2x is a pretty rare format and I’m sure would be attractive to someone looking to lower this beast and throw a supercharger and LSD on it.

    I wouldn’t buy a 2WD truck for 16K. Or a 2WD living in So-Cal. You’ll reduce future buyers.

That being said, thats not a bad price. Maybe closer to $13.5K.

No, the seller never got back to me. I asked for the VIN and he said NO and I didn't want to drive four hours with out a clean car fax first. Also the ad expired so was over priced or junk IMO.

Yes I did seller listed on Auto trader and checked out the car fax, the truck spent almost 5 years in the Rust Belt. Not the truck for me.

I found a wrecked Rock Warrior at my local wrecking yard. Snatched the Front Bumper and Grille from it for $250. Next up is a paint matched rear bumper off ebay and Then I think I’m done. I dont think I will ever get rid of it but also dont want to keep dumping money into a 2007 with 120k on the clock. Even though I’m in the rust belt the frame on this thing is spotless. I also have been Krowning it since I purchased it.

I've got the one piece bumper on mine, but it's days are numbered with my new CoastalOffroad High Clearance front bumper
sitting in the shop awaiting welding. I'm painting my grill over the grey tape on my grill, kinda change the whole look away from
the gigantacus grill to a bit more moderated

Tires and headlights. Each cost the same as the other. Ouch!! But they look cool, so it's all worth it!

Thats how I got duped with my bed. Didn't lift the liner. After having both the 5.7 and 4.7 I prefer the 4.7. On the RCSB and 4.10’s it does everything I ask of it. My 5.7 was good but the 6 spd trans limits it power in my experience. It tended to hunt for gears alot. It was also a crewmax tho so alot more truck.

If the truck lived in WI its whole life you're 100% spot on. It's looks clean, but no undercarriage pics.

That's an interesting comparision, hadn't thought of 'hunting for gears', but I have noticed the 2010 6 spd doesn't hold gear
on uphill as smoothly it will shift and hunt tending to over rev when not completely necessary. Cool insight.
