Finally picked up my Limited long bed off road after waiting 10 months. Originally was considering blueprint but black looks great. Waiting for the mustache replacement in matching black.

Apple Tree Canyon Trailhead? Lots of snow down there! How do you like the Michelin tires in the snow?

 

10 months? I have one on order but my dealer told me 6-8 months. I'm in BC.

 

JSG, We found ours on Craigslist last September and had it 3 weeks later from a reputable dealer.

 

Mine is supposed to come this week. I bet our trucks were on the same train from San Antonio to Toronto. Mine is exactly the same except 5.5.

I’m impressed. Yes it’s Apple Tree Canyon Trailhead.
I really didn’t put the Michelins to work, so I can’t state how they did.
So far it been highway use, some snow covered and wet driving highway use.
They’ve done well so far, comfy and quiet ride.

 

23 Limited on Westcott Spacer lift and 37s

 

First time posting, New to the forum. Got my 22 SR5 TRD OR short bed crew max in march, 16000 miles today. No mods yet, Planned to be used as an adventure rig.
Looking for a Cap and having trouble finding one. Has anyone gotten a Cap for the new 5.5 foot bed??
Only planned mod is leveling kit and a nicer tire on the stock rims once these wear out.

$6000 Canadian for Expel satin PPF over the black metallic, tinted PPF on the headlights and taillights, Ceramic tint on the windows including the windshield and then topped with ceramic coat.

 

That is the exact same I got quoted. Looks like you got a better deal. That is about $1600 cheaper than for me in San Diego.

 

Exchange rate, 6k Canadian is $4300us

 

It was still a lot of money but also a lot of work. The shop said it was the first Tundra they had done and it was more work than they anticipated. I doubt they will do it for that moving forward. It was there for a week.

 

I don’t have any updated pictures but have since put 35/12.5/18 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss tires with wheel spacers on and am having a Wescott 3/1 lift kit installed shortly. Really happy with how it is turning out.

Today is an exciting day! Was well worth the 8 month wait. I put on TRD Running Boards and switched factory tires to KO2s. I think that’s all I’m going to do… I just love the look - I’m one of those weird people that like the moustache and also love the Limited trim’s tasteful balance of chrome with the Black.

 

Looks great. Through your windshield, I noticed you have red on your steering wheel...did it come with the TRD steering wheel???

 

The red steering wheel and red shifter and red start button seem to be standard on the TRD offroad package in Canada.

Love this truck. Can do without the wierd grey fender flares/grill and of course chrome and polished chrome mustache.

 

I was wondering if those painted fender flares came with the truck or you picked them and your comment says it all

I am working on the chrome and silver on mine and will tackle the moustache first. I am changing my grill (when it arrives) and will have the moustache off to get some paint or plasti coat.
