    Not today. Few does and a forkie. Really after elk. Deer tag is good for all seasons. Elk for archery and late muzzleloader only.

    You don't if you're responsible. I called it quits about 10:30 just because of the heat. No way I could get an elk processed by myself before meat spoilage. If you're not solo you can. Get it processed and in coolers pretty quick. Solo you're looking at least 4 loads back to camp.

    Last week was nice here too, one last heat wave for the summer I guess. Back to low eighties next weekend. Which should be mid to low seventies up in the mountains hopefully. Hopefully it kicks off the rut for the elk and get a little more action.
