    That was the horsepower on the 250 4-stroke. The bigger four strokes race against the smaller two strokes. If you still have the Elsinore in great shape today, it would be really worth something.

    How cool. I was born in 1974. My first bike was a Suzuki DS80. Slow, but fun. Then I had a couple CR80 and KX80's. I always had a spare bike to loan out to friends that were too lazy to get a job. Looking back now I realize that probably wasn't a good call. One time in particular we would cross through a farmers fields, jump over a 14' ditch and go ride in BLM land. We would always stay on his roads, but he didn't like it and warned us. He ended up shooting us with rock salt. Holy hell that hurt. He was probably a bit too close...then my dad kicked my ass, and made me go to his property and apologize. I ended up working for the man a few summers later and then understanding why he didn't want us riding those loud ass dirt bikes on his property with livestock.

    The 450 (250cc 2 stroke) racers are pushing 60 hp. Hell, the electric dirt bikes can be cranked up to 80 hp. This is why I struggle to find what I need to ride.

    I have always owned 450's, but I am not in the physical condition to handle a 450 long term. These will just flat out wear a person out that isn't in great physical condition...then accidents happen.

    Good morning everyone. I actually slept pretty good last night for once.

    My daughter finally crashed her new bike! Grabbed that front brake a little too hard going down a hill. She ate it pretty good :rofl:
    I told her that braking with both is a necessity along with body positioning (she was too far forward and coming in hot). So far she is really enjoying the bigger bike. Shifting has improved and now up to 4th gear before running out of real estate.

    Kilo missing his buddies. He is all "dad, let him in!"
