Yes, they were on the truck when I got it, I think they were passed their prime but I wheeled with them some and as long as I didn't go swamping, everything was OK. The TN mud here has a lot of clay in it and as you know when you add water to clay it gets real slick real quick. Anyway, I liked them and I'm about 99.9% sure that's what I'm going with.

Good. A little tired after sanding drywall yesterday but that's behind me now. PXL_20250508_144027411.MP.jpg
You would have thought they would have taken the elkhead out of the area we were working but didn't happen.

Lol, that was the first thing I saw when I looked. Yeah, maybe they thought it was possessed or maybe they named it and talked to it.....
Back when I had my landscaping business, I ran into all kinds of odd customers.

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! What prompted you to change plugs so early? The maintenance schedule doesn't call for that until 120k.

I just bought the truck! But I thought that the V8 wasn't accelerating like a V8 should and the idle was just a tad but not as smooth. It wasn't rough by any means either but I normally do the easy maintenance on any new vehicle I get and this is the newest one I've ever owned! I plan to make her last till my kids can drive and I dont have kids yet!
Changing the plugs did make the acceleration way better and more responsive and it definitely smoothed over the idle. Like I said it was running rough at all but I just new it could be better so I went ahead and changed them.

    Throttle body clean?
How's the air filter? Only reason I ask that simple question is a friend had all dealer maintenance done and at 90k miles he noticed the air filter had never been changed.
