    Had a little visitor at the chicken coop at 4:30 this morning. Too bad I didn't have the .22 rifle ready with subsonic rounds in my hand. Kilo chased the fox away.

    Should be a nice day out. Think my oldest and I will have a dad/daughter day and head up to Denver. Found a nice deal on the Vortex optic I want for my ARs.

    There's close to 20K Sandhill Cranes laying over at the Monte Vista Wildlife Refuge a few miles away. What's nifty is while up in AK, there was a nesting pair hanging out at my friend's lodge near Ninilchik. They no doubt passed through here in CO! Crazy when you consider the distance.
