Hey Chris don't know if this helps at all but this is from the service manual on a 85 Husky/KTM with a Keihin pwk 28 carb. Needle clip position could possibly help also.PXL_20241021_113949005.MP.jpg

That is the exact same carburetor as her bike! Hell yeah that helps. Thank you. Looks like the jetting in the bike is way off. The needle position was on 1 and placed in 3rd, looks like I need to open up the air valve a bit more, pilot and main are way off.

I was looking at getting a smaller bike as well. Every time I purchase a bigger displacement bike it ends up bad.

    Bikes considered:

Yamaha YZ125X (this could also be her next bike.
Yamaha YZ250X. This is larger displacement, but has no where near the hit of a 4 stroke 450.
Husky/KTM 350/300/250. Only reservations is the suspension. The WP shocks I never got used to.

Husky 501. I know...that's a big bike but relatively light for its displacement and can dual sport it. Not sure I would like that though.

Makes me miss my KX250F. Sold it quite awhile ago, a guy came to give it a little test ride. Leaned it up against my garage and dropped it, breaking the clutch lever. He says "welp.. guess I'm buying it" haha

Collision center says remove everything of value
Which I think if you have an employee with sticky fingers you should hold them accountable and as the business you should cover the cost of replacing valuables.

it’s a sickening feeling have to take your stuff out
