We have had a mild winter not much snow and cold. I think we have only had single numbers once. We always get -10* to -20* year. Maybe 20” of snow so far this year.
Probably cause I bought a new snow blower. Lol but that’s ok with me.

If that info on the Kelly Blue Book value from Marketplace is accurate, I'm curious why this one is at the lower end, especially knowing that dealers tend to mark up used cars for 20% more than they're worth.

My wife has a 2016 legacy with 145,000 miles on it. Just had a front wheel bearing replaced. I also have had the transmission fluid, rear end fluid replaced and plugs at 65,000 and at 130,000. No other problems. Just brakes replaced but that’s normal.
My daughter in law has a 2018 legacy at 72,000 had all the fluids changed and plugs. Subaru recommends plugs at 60,000 that I think is early. No problems at all. I do change the oil every 5,000 which is extremely easy. Any other questions pm me if you want. Good luck with your search.

Don't know anything about the reputation or viability of the dealer. The CarFax shows lots of service in IL and OH - you'll want to look for signs of salt damage (not specific to a Subaru, just specific to a midwest vehicle from the winters). That mileage would indicate mostly highway miles, so likely not heavily abused. The 4-cyl 2.5L engine in that car is a timing chain, so no worries there. Do a thorough inspection of the heads underneath just to be doubly sure there's no oil seepage. I think the 2019 Legacy had CarPlay as standard feature, so if you are shopping for a modern teenager/young adult that is a good thing since most can't read a map.
The "Premium" isn't exactly the "loaded" model, but is certainly well equipped. Looks like there might be a minor ding in the passenger door from the one photo (easy for PDR to pull out), but from the internet pictures it appears clean.
Wheel bearings can sometimes be an issue, and on most modern Subaru's the wheel bearing can essentially mean a full hub replacement. But I've also not encountered very many who have had that be an problem.

    Morning gang.
It's Friday. The area is preparing for winter apocalypse...but we already had ours yesterday at our house.

I talked with a transmission shop that I have used a few times - all highly trained and experienced guys - and they said that Subaru had the best CVT out there, but even the Subaru's CVT was prone to failure beginning around 150k miles. And when it failed, it was not repairable, it had to be replaced - by Subaru, at a cost of $7-8k. While that car is still available, I want more confidence in getting more than 40k more miles out of it.
