    Update on Magnus:

    We had the MRI today. The results were what the doctors anticipated: ruptured disc in his neck. The good news is that he has an 80% chance of recovery albeit limited mobility ie. No more stairs, rough play, etc.

    So while he was under anesthesia, we decided to move forward with the surgery. It isn't cheap but with a prognosis like that I wasn't gonna say no....

    He made it through surgery with no issues and is in recovery under a lot of pain meds. I will probably not be able to see him for a couple more days but I'm content knowing he's in the best hands possible. My family is so relieved and the kids are anxiously awaiting his return home.

    Thank you for all of your well wishes....
