    Sam’s seems to have pretty much the same battery (different brand) same specs/ warranty so I’m just going with the everstart for now

    I had back to back Frontiers in 2007-2017. Eyeballing the ‘22 models. Really appreciate your input as it covers things not so desirable from back when. Had the 4.0L with a 5 speed. Always lugging, too low on RPM and then very slow to respond. Practically had to go full throttle for a decent response.
    Anything, good or not, that you’d like to share is so welcomed. Currently driving a ‘17 Sierra Denali with the horrendous 8L90 tranny. I landed on this forum to learn about Tundra but specifically the ‘22.

    I just now got back from grouse hunting. About 130 miles round trip. Was 4 wheeling in a bit of snow for a short stretch at 10600ft. Topped off tank before I left. Topped off just now. Hand calc mpg's>>>> 24.4! The 3.8L V6 is sweet.

    The new Tunny is going to be alright. Not cheap. Especially the upper trims, but what new truck isn't cheap? I look forward to the members here that score one and post pics and any dealer crap markups. I paid no markup but my 22 SV was just short of $37K. The new Frontier is better than the current Taco gen. It is what it is if you want a new truck. I'll be so glad when the 22 Tundra hits the dealerships. The speculation factor is a bit nutz right now. Understandable of course but let's get this party started!
