    41 and cloudy here, going to be 44 later.

    Had a good evening on the mountain last night - my younger one is starting to figure out her turns and connecting them, and the older one is gaining confidence at speed. Her boyfriend even got her down a black diamond in the upper bowl at Skibowl - nothing crazy, but she's getting it. Always makes me glad to see them getting better and having fun. Snow was soft and gave good edge control - didn't start running into icy spots until close to closing time. Getting home at midnight is a bit rough though...

    Chris, I hope you're giving those birds some heat - that's frigging frigid!
