I love the proportions of the long bed and double cab. She’s begging for bigger wheels though. IMG_2967.jpg

2024 Tundra SR5 Double Cab Std Bed 4x4.
    Just starting
I know there's not much different to look at here, but I just got it about 10 days ago. 2024 SR5 Double Cab with 6.5 Bed, 4WD.

Truthfully, I was in the market for the Tacoma. I don't need to tow more than 4-5k lbs any more, don't need a rear seat, etc. Was looking for weeks, but couldn't find the exact model I wanted, or in the case I did, and I quote, the dealer said "we're taking bids on it". So a different dealer made me a killer deal on this.

Won't be stock for long. Already installed bed cover and a couple internal things. Ordered some decals, bed rug, carbon fiber already. Having to parse out the rest as funds come available. This is my 1st non-Chevy in 20+ yrs - 3 Avalanches (I LOVE THEM!), then a 2015 Silverado with the 6.2L engine. Now this. I am looking to actually remove the rear seats because I need more cargo storage than I do passenger (hence why I went with the double cab and the 6.5 bed).

(Oh, and my Avatar is a Polaris Slingshot, known as "The Force". My 3rd Slingshot and I travel around going to different GTGs all over the place. Last year, went to Alabama (Polaris Factory), North Carolina (Tail of the Dragon), and the Florida Keys (Mile Marker 0!). Planning a Colorado trip and maybe Vegas later this year.

In the last year I went from a 2020 Sequoia Pro to a 21’ BMW X3 to a 24’ Limited with nightshade package. Should have skipped the x3 and went straight to the Tundra. Love this truck.

Love all the MGM's just traded my 2015 MGM, sadly they didn't have a MGM that I was interested in and had to settle for silver.

Got the camper shell installed and some new rubber. Putting on some Dobinson springs to help with the weight of the shell and truck vault next.

The truck is now gone, but I still think MGM is one of the best colors, along with WCP.

I just picked up a 2024, and plan to put the same cover and rack on very soon. How has your retrax held up? Leaking issues?

700 miles on the ODO, 2 weeks old

    First few mods complete:

    Rough Country OV2 running boards
    Husky X-Act Contour mats front/back
    AVS in-channel visors
    RC bed mat
    Retrax Pro XR
    Elevate Rack
    Elevate T-slot tie-downs

Will wear down these factory tires for while and upgrade those before end of year and tint the front windows. All in all loving the truck, MGM looks awesome with the black trim, and it also looks great dirty (win/win)

Enjoy!!! Loving mine so far, 4,000 miles in. Swapped out racks for Yakima already and have my rack attachments mostly worked out for all the gear I need. Tinted front windows, way better! Installing Beat Sonic amp this weekend to liven up the JBL.
